"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

I'm watching St. Elmo's Fire and having serious 80s flashbacks.

A bula, bula, bula.... ah ah ah..........

I thought I had responded to your last update...

I have found Concierge at most resorts at WDW very helpful and friendly. It may suck waiting in line, but you get your turn, you understand why it takes so long. The service and care is OUTSTANDING.

Paging Patrick............:scared:

Oh my GOODNESS!!! That is my favorite movie EVER! I am not kidding. When anyone asks me my favorite movie, or when I have to list it, that is my first. It's even first on my MySpace (I think). Wow

I love how Demi calls her step mother her "step monster". My sister and I have always fondly referred to our stepmother as our "step monster" ever since that movie.

Is that also the one where the mom whispers "drugs" at the dinner table? Not sure.

Rob Lowe is such a hottie.

Yes she whispers "drugs" "cancer" "very wealthy" and I love it then when Rob Lowe/Billy whispers "prison" to her. :lmao:

I wasn't allowed to see St. Elmo's Fire when it was in the theater. I just remember seeing it at a friend's house on cable.

I am like you with time. I need to be early.

Glad the CM was able to find your ADR. Now, I will make sure to carry all of the confirmation numbers with me.

You said 8 lol but its ok :D it feels like 20 sometimes

I looked at the boys testing schedules and Joey does have 8 days of testing. :scared1: 3 days of math, 2 days of reading, 3 days of science. Adam has 7 days of testing 3 days of math, 2 days of reading, 2 days of writing.

To much!

I have a new update ready to type up as soon as I get back from picking Daisy up after volleyball practice.

"Oh this is the night, it's a beautiful night
And we call it bella notte" - Lady and the Tramp

We did make it to the Magic Kingdom in plenty of time. We got through the card, finger scan with minimal trouble. Both Joey and I couldn't remember which finger we had scanned and had to have a do over. The Bag Lady aka Aunt Pat got through bag check and we were all inside the Magic Kingdom. I knew Tony's was on Main Street so we wouldn't have far to go. We went through the right tunnel and spotted that Tony's was the very first building. I was anxious for the kids to see the castle and for my first glimpse of it as well, so we walked around the corner a little to peak at it. Beautiful!

Walking up the porch steps and in we noticed that the lobby for Tony's was packed to overflowing. As I walked up to the podium I saw them turn away two different parties of walk ins. After checking in I sent everyone else down the hall to check out the screening room and the murals I had read about in the Unofficial Guide book.

There were so many people waiting and the hostess CMs seemed very harried so I was getting a little nervous since Tony's does not always get the best reviews for food or service. I had chosen Tony's one day after watching Lady and the Tramp with some kids at school and remembering how much I like that movie. Also I wanted us to be able to soak up some Magic Kingdom atmosphere early in our trip.

After about 20 minutes my family came wandering back to me. Very few names had been called for seats so I figured we still might have to wait awhile, but then we were called.

Our hostess greeted us and wished David a Happy Birthday. On our whole trip whenever he was wearing his birthday button David never quite got use to random people wishing him Happy Birthday. The hostess led us to our table in the main dining room with a great view of the Lady and the Tramp fountain.

On the table, Mickey confetti and ribbons for David's birthday.

I hadn't expected that at all and the extra Magic touch was wonderful!

Our server was very sweet, she was from California and said that she doesn't see to many people from the west coast at Disney World. She brought us bread with a very yummy tomato based spread.

We chatted a bit with her and ordered our appetizers. This was another case where I was torn on what to order. Thank goodness for Daisy. Whenever I couldn't decide what to order she was always willing to order one of the choices and share. Both David and I ordered the tomato and mozzarella salad,

Daisy ordered the spinach and artichoke dip,

Aunt Pat ordered the mixed greens,

and the boys got the veggie sticks and dip.

Adam said right at the beginning that he wasn't hungry and didn't want anything, but we made him order food anyway.

The tomato salads turned out to not be that good, but the spinach and artichoke dip was fabulous! While we were enjoying our appetizers Joey spotted a hidden Mickey up in a flower arrangement in the corner.

For our main course David, Aunt Pat and I all ordered the chicken parmigiana,

IMG_5698.jpg

Daisy got shrimp pasta,

Joey ordered spaghetti with just sauce not meat,

IMG_5699.jpg

and Adam ordered cheese pizza though he didn't eat any of it.

IMG_5700.jpg

Everyone loved their food, not counting Adam of course. They were huge portions though so we left a lot. I know I only ate the chicken part of my dish and not even all of that. Joey enjoyed his italian spaghetti so much he insisted, much to his sister's annoyance and disapproval, on speaking in a fake italian accent for the rest of the evening. In fact whenever he wanted to irritate Daisy during the rest of the trip he would begin speaking that way.

Now as much as Joey loved his dinner he loved his dessert even more! He got the vanilla gelato and declared his love for italian ice cream after the first bite.

Aunt Pat got the vanilla gelato as well. Adam got ice cream with Mickey sprinkles. Which he did eat.

IMG_5706.jpg

Daisy got the pistachio creme brulee, which was really, really yummy!

IMG_5702.jpg

My lemon walnut layer cake was delicious too.

IMG_5709.jpg

David ordered the chef's signature cheesecake and it had a special surprise decorating the plate.

It was so sweet!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Tony's Town Square. Our server was wonderful, the atmosphere was warm and pleasant, and the food was terrific. We walked out of Tony's happy and full about 10 minutes before Spectro Magic was to begin.

That settles it, sounds like Tony's will be where I will take my dd when we get to Disneyworld!
