"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

Eeek!! :scared1: I'm so glad you had your confirmation numbers!

Hope you made it to dinner on time...my DH always says "It'll be fine." too...wish it helped make me feel better in those sort of situations, but usually it doesn't!

David just said I did not accurately convey how freaked out I was. He said I was not only freaking out, but wigging out on everybody.

Good thing he loves me anyway.

I was glad I had the confirmation numbers too! David is much more go with the flow than me so sometimes his idea of "fine" doesn't match mine. :rotfl:

Thank you. Good luck on your testing. I work with sixth graders and they only have math and reading, so only 4 days of testing.

My 4th & 5th grade sons have 8 days of testing like you. They just started today.

Yay for extra money on the gift cards! I'll bet the kids were thrilled. I don't feel so bad now about carrying our ADR numbers everywhere we go--we worked hard to plan those reservations!

I can't believe you guys have 8 days of testing!:scared1: That must be so stressful on all the kids. I volunteered to be a proctor on our first day this week; TCAPs only last four days, so today is the last day.

They have two sections in each subject they are tested in. So my 4th grader has two days each of reading, math, and writing. My 5th grader has reading, math, and science. It's a lot of testing.

sorry for your adr problems, remember deep breaths. breathe in and breathe out.

glad it was found. :thumbsup2

Note to self...bring all confirmation numbers in August and double check when you get there:thumbsup2 Thanks for the tip.

Such stress, not good:sad2: Smart thinking with the confirmation #'s:thumbsup2 Great surprise for the kiddos that their gift cards were worth twice as much as they thought!:woohoo:

So glad that you had your ADRs, and they could fix everything for you...that's why I am such an obsessive carrier of Disney things -- I am so afraid something like that will happen!

I always forget that deep breathing stuff when I really need it. :rotfl:

Yes they were quite pleased.

It was so weird the other name it was under since it was our phone number too. :confused3

Yeah - I thank the DIS for knowing I needed to bring all my confirmation numbers with me. We had a couple they had a hard time finding, but having the number solved everything. :)

I also saved a couple of ressies by having the confirmation #s. I don't know how, but two out of seven were under two totally different names. ??:confused3 You really do learn some neat stuff here.

Chel, I sure hope the cake makes it to the table on time...

Definitely take those confirmations with you.

HA - that's something DH would say...I think the two of them need to meet! I seriously would have been freaking out (and still will) if any ADR's are missing!

It was a pretty big freak out, but I couldn't get it into words. Well I probably could have but I was afraid I'd scare everyone reading my trip report away. I swear my head did not spin completely around though!

If correct I'm pretty sure she meant six days as theres only 2 days of testing for each subject and so yeah in 6th and 3rd all you do is reading and math and then you have writing and science every 4 years but on the bright side we dont have to take the test in 9th grade so next year I get to sleep in till 11:00 :)

I did mean six, did I say more?

The kids came back with candy and the news that their Disney gift cards they each had two of had $50.00 on each of them not $25.00. I had purchased the gift cards over a year earlier and I had forgotten how much was on them, so that was nice surprise.
Gotta love finding "free" money! Especially when you're a kid and at Disney!

Aunt Pat returned with the print out of ADRs. I looked over it and discovered we were missing 3 ADRs, one of them being Crystal Palace that I had ordered a birthday cake to be delivered at! :scared1:
Uh, this is what you would call major freak out time!

Major freak out now occurred.
Yup, I see we react the same way in stressful situations!

The CM changed the name on them, printed out new copies of the confirmation numbers, and all was fixed. Thank goodness!
Hugs to that CM!

I
told the CM we would have to check on the cake later because we needed to get to dinner and we hurried to the bus stop. David assured me we would be fine. He always says that and he's usually right, but I spent the whole bus ride watching the clock.

The suspense...
