My family is going 10/27-11/6 and we can't wait we have run into a problem though we always go on Small World as a first ride. It's closed so any ideas as a substitute for this year? We were thinking of Buzz Lightyear? We have 3 Adults and 4 kids ranging from 11- 20mths.

Dumbo or Winnie the Pooh:D

We usually do Buzz as our first ride as we start in Tomorrowland-- while everyone else is heading to Fantasyland. However, I will admit our last trip started w/ Mickeys Philharmagic. It did give us a lot more options as to where to head next. So, I can see this becoming a "new" tradition.

we go in august and plan dumbo, pooh and those rides first (son is 5yo) then to mickey and minnie's house.....i think those will be the most crowded areas, so we want to get them done early!!

Buzz Lightyear is fun for the adults too! DH took me on it, and I didn't want to go, but I loved it! (I won last time, and he is excited for his rematch this year!) With FastPass, we walked right on!

Dumbo would also be good!

Have fun!!!

Pooh might be a good choice. It's a little bouncy and I'm a little worried about how the 20mth old would react to that, but that's about as good as I can think of. Buzz and Philharmagic are both fairly loud and a little intense. Peter Pan and Dumbo might work, but if the 20-mnth old doesn't like heights, it will probably get scarred and not want to go on any more rides after taht. The Carousel in Fantasyland might also be a good choice. It's fairly slow and gentle. After that, maybe you can work up to some of the other rides.

It will probably be depressing to stand in line for Pan and look across at Small World while waiting. Try Pooh or Buzz.;)

Thanks everyone!! I will debate over Buzz and Pooh with the family. The 20 mth old dd is very daring and as far as heights and bumps I think we will be ok she climbs everywhere. My only problem might be keeping her seated.

Dumbo..it's a great starter and a nice way to get a view of the park. ::yes::
