First ride to fastpass

If in DCA, as mentioned, if the park is not opened early for anyone, go straight to TSMM and ride a few times to get it out of your system. You can even ride screamin with no line for the first hour or so. Make sure you get a RSR fast pass with the first 60-90 minutes the park is open, otherwise they will be gone for the day. After that, its kind of a crap shoot. I personally feel like ToT FPs usually run out faster than Soarin, but really it comes down to what you want to go on. Honestly, other than RSR, if you are at DCA when it opens you can pretty much hit every major attraction and most of the minor attractions in the first 2 hours the park is open with little or no line.

Disneyland is a different story. Space Mountain is the most popular FP, so the times creep up quicker. On a warm afternoon Splash Mountain will be a few hours out too, but Splash Mountain usually has no line at night so if you dont mind riding at night you dont even need to bother. Indy is probably the second most popular FP, but this ride does break down often so if it is having a bad day, FPs may run out quickly. Star Tours would be my next FP. BTMRR usually has Fast Passes available until around Fantasmic or later.
