First ride of the day?

I'll agree.. :dumbo: like the others said, strait to him. I remember it was one of the first rides DD's rode at Disney. personal favorite is Pooh Bear... we love him, we do that soon after.

MGM: Playhouse Disney and Little Mermaid for us (but I have 2 girls, ages 4 & 8)

AK: Safari

Epcot: This could be tough if you have little ones, but we're going to head to Soarin' first to get a FP, then imagination. We're not hard to please! I can't wait to see Turtle Talk too.

POB That was my plan ! DGS 5 will have to ride DUMBO and no fastpass, what is nearby for DGSx 2 aged 11 to ride while he's riding DUMBO at least once. At Epcot it's Soarin and then Turtle Talk . How is the Safari at Ak in the afternoon? Thought we'd do Dinoland first after Donalds Breakfast. MGM is Lights Motor Actionfor sure. I guess it depends on what is of the biggest interestto your family.

In the past it's been...

MK..Pirates
Epcot, SE and Sorin
AK, KS and Dinosaur
MGM, TOT and RNR

But now that our little BrennaBelle has joined our home,

It will be

MK...I say Pirates, but more than likely Dumbo and Peter Pan
Epcot, SE, but more than likely Universe
AK, Dinosaur and Everest, but more than likely Rifiki's Planet watch and The Lion King...oh It's Tough to be a bug
MGM...TOT and RNR, mommy can take BrennaBelle to play house Disney....

:rotfl2:

Dumbo

Soarin'

Tower of Terror

and I bet this August it will be Expedition Everest

MK: Treehouse (well, ok not exactly a ride) so, Pirates then JC
EPCOT: Spacship Earth
MGM: Fpass for RnRC then TOT
AK: Dinosaur

MK - Haunted Mansion, Haunted Mansion, and ummm Haunted Mansion. Yes we ride it a few times before venturing to the next ride. Then we hit Fantasyland

AK- Get fastpass for KS, then ride Dinosaur

Epcot/MGM - Don't have a particular ride we always do first.

Epcot: Test Track, then head to Living Seas for Turtle Talk. We personally avoid Mission Space, but if that is something you are interested in, hit it before or after Test Track.

Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain, Pirates of Carribean, Jungle Cruise

MGM: Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, Star Tours

Animal Kingdom: Kilamanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur

When we go to the waterparks my DS(8) always hits the Lazy River first thing. The reason - MONEY!!!

People lose money out of their pockets all day, when they leave at night they go over the bridges, toss their coins and make a wish.

My son takes his goggles, I help him look for money and then he dives down. If near a strong current he uses my leg to hang onto when diving down. He usually makes $5-$15 each day by diving for money.

A very kind lifeguard on the Lazy River told us about the money one morning, now it's a tradition. The most money is to be found first thing in the morning, but anytime of day you can find money in the Lazy River.

Teacups. Put the almost-teens on the teacups while Bubba rides Dumbo. "Gee, kids, we'd love to ride this torturous, vomit-inducing ride from the seventh circle of Hell with you, but we've got to watch Bubba on Dumbo." :thumbsup2

As for the Safari, we've only ridden first thing in the AM; especially on a hot day, there are usually more animals out and active in the early morning. Personally I would do the Safari first, fastpass EE, and save DinoCarnyLand for later . . . much later . . . such as when they refurb it and make it fun. :rotfl: But that's just me.

usually our first choice to ride in a day we very rarely get to ride that ride. so we fastpass that choice and just wait on a lesser line

in MK Space mountain line too long Fastpass it then over to BTMRR and ride that
in MGM FP RnR and ride TOT
in Epcot FP Soarin and ride MS
AK is the only park where we get to ride our first choice which is Dinosaur.

this is what happens to us on all of our trips to the parks but occasionaly we get to ride our first choice right away

Magic Kingdom - Pirates of the Caribbean
Epcot - Test Track or Mission Space
MGM - Great Movie Ride
Animal Kingdom - Kilaminjaro Safari

I've never been called a hero before. Probably because I don't look good in tights and a cape. Okay, I don't look good in anything, but it would be even worse in tights and a cape.

:happytv: <--- picture of me exercising :lmao:

I just spent the better part of my time laughing as I read these posts! (Thanks Patrick!) The teacups are truly a ride of choice, not one for everyone!

As for my travel party here's our typical rundown:
MK - Haunted Mansion
MGM - Rock-n-Roller Coaster (with a FP for TOT in my pocket!)
AK - in the past: Dinosaur, on the next vacation (1st time with a 5 year old) I suspect it'll be Kilimanjaro Safari
EPCOT - Spaceship Earth (funny, normally we end our day with this too - it's so relaxing!!)

Thanks POB I love the Teacup idea,The Safari first had crossed my mind but as we'll be eating the Donald breakfast I thought Dinoland is so close, Any one else have thoughts on the Safari in the afternoon???
