First Reservation

Just made our first reservations with our DVC points!

Anyone else a bit disappointed in the call-in line though? We spoke with a very nice lady, but she seemed to take FOREVER to check anything and then there was a bit of a language barrier too. We haven't gotten our online code yet, but once we do, is that the way to go? I mean this call took almost an hour to sort out!

Online is quick and easy, unless you have a "complicated" points issue of some kind. It's my first choice!

It shouldn't take anywhere close to an hour on the phone for a simple reservation. Perhaps you just got someone new. I'm usually off in 5 minutes max, but I know exactly what I want and lately, I've gotten a CM who will ask if all is the same since my last call rather than verify very bit of data they have, LOL.

The only time it takes a long time is when I make cruise reservations with my points since they have to call over to DCL for availability, otherwise it's relatively quick.


If you aren't familiar with all questions they ask about cancelling and holding and your address and email etc, etc, etc, and she is difficult to understand, that takes longer.

Everything should go quicker after you have made a few reservations because you'll be more efficient too. Granted, she could have been new too!


But online is the fastest if you have a simple reservation.
