Hi,

This is our first time use of our points. We have a DCL Wonder Cruise Booked for 25th. Yipee! Thought we would go to Universal (free Superbowl tickets) and then Disney for a few nights. Nov 22 - 25.

We purchased at Kidani and was hoping to try, knew it was last minute. Only had studio at AKL. Whole reason we purchased was space, our son is 12 so really wanted a 1BR. Rep checked inventory and it was OKW or BCV.

My question is, is our wait list likely to come through? Or should we count on BCV? Is this resort nice? Where would a 1BR place us or when is our room assigned? I did not see different point charts for views.

Also, is Stormalong Bay included and how long is walk? It looks like BCV is quite aways behing main BC lodging.

Is there a difference to feel when you or are mixed with regular resort? Like too crowded? And how is transportation to our fave park - Hollywood Studios?

Sorry - so many questions but our first time to use points. Always stayed at value with exceptions fo Disneymoon.

Thanks everyone!;)

I don't think it's impossible for your waitlist to come thru but that is Thanksgiving week so I believe that reduces the odds. However, since AKV is being sold they may be declaring new inventory between now and then so maybe!

I still would plan on BCV and it's a very nice resort! You will be able to use Stormalong Bay. To get to it you do have to walk from the Villas thru the BC lobby and then out towards the Yacht Club. It sounds worse than it is and I think if you didn't mind walking a little bit more you could avoid the lobby with an outside path. It's not much different than if you're in one of the further away rooms at AKV and want to get to the pool.

To get to DHS you take a boat - very convenient! The dock is straight out from the Yacht Club so just a short walk and you're on your way and there in 10 minutes or so. You could also use the walking path that goes past BWV but that is really more convenient from BWV than BCV. And to get to Epcot just walk - don't take the boat (although you could). You'll spend as much time walking to the boat as you would if you just walk to the Int'l gateway.

The BCV lobby will be pretty popular at time you are there b/c of the Christmas decorations but I never found it uncomfortably crowded.

Congratulations on getting any reservation at that time and enjoy your trip!

Sounds good - I hope my son will have fun with resort. Is Stormalong Bay usually very crowded?

Also, is parking in the back for these resorts? We have only seen the front via the Boardwald.

Does BCV share bus with Beach Club and Yacht Club? I can't remember and how does service run?

I still remember our stay POR and bus service was terrible, much worse than the values due to sheer size of resort.

Thanks so much!
