Well, ok, so right now it's a hole in the ground, but hey, it's a start!

Here's the foundation...

And here's us standing where our garage will be (you can see the backyard pretty well in this pic too)...

And I think its very cool to have pictures of it the way it is. We bought our house brand new, but found it when it was pretty much built. I hear stories from all the neighbors about when it was being built, but I didnt get to see all that.

We bought a real old house 11 years ago, and it is repair after repair. You're so lucky to have a brand new home!

we had our foundation appointment a few weeks ago and are now waiting for our "pile of dirt" to get a foundation...

May I add congrats on your new hole in the ground. We had one of those about 18 years ago. Now the hole is filled with a house and the house is filled with memories (and a lot of stuff).

You are embarking on an exciting journey. Take lots of pictures and enjoy your new home. We'll be over for a DISmeet as soon as it's done.

Steve, it's BEAUTIFUL! It seems to weird to see a foundation with a basement! Don't have those in the houses we've built in Florida! Just a slab!

Keep an eye on things every day, and bring anything you notice to their attention right away. I know from whence I speak...
