We are headed to Universal this week. We have never been before and will be onsite so we have universal express. I am wondering if there is we should plan on starting in a certain park or just go with whichever has early entrance. Based on other post it seems to be leaning toward IOA.

With that said - if we do EE in IOA should we stay there and plan to ride Hogwarts both ways or take advantage of the park to pass. Start in IOA then ride hogwarts express and do some of USF for the remainder of the day.

We will be at Universal Friday, Saturday, and part of Sunday.

Thanks for any thoughts. Have a little girl who cannot wait to see and experience WWOHP

Personally, I don't like to hop right back on the train... once I've been transported to the other park, I like to stay there and explore a bit. :-)

You can't go wrong either way.... Doing EE at whichever park has it is a solid plan, and then when you're ready for the Hogwarts Express, go ahead and do that and then explore the HP stuff at the other park. :-D

Crowds should be pretty low for you. You'll be able to do whatever you want. I'd let the little one dictate the experience.

I agree to start at the EE park and then just figure it out from there. Our rough plan kept changing when we were there last week. We would choose to focus on one park but then go over to the other side for some reason or another. (There was always a good reason - but they varied to wanting a particular lunch or treat or wanting a certain ride). Hogwarts Express made us go park-to-park more than we used to as it was so easy.

*Also, since it's your first trip - here's another tip. Bring a banana to give to a Minion. Even if you don't do the ride, you can go into the meet and greet through the store. We brought bananas for them twice during our last trip and it was well worth it!
