First OKW stay..where to request?

We'll be staying at OKW in a studio over Thanksgiving this year...it is our first stay here (except when I stayed over 20 years ago when it was new). I was looking into the maps and bus stops and pools and was thinking of requesting southpoint area? Is that a good request? What's the easiest area for busses and best pool? It'll be myself DH DD15 DD12, although probably won't be swimming too much being november. I saw there was also a path to Disney Springs to walk? How's the bus service to the parks? Any other info you can provide? Thanks!

If you can book the hospitality house category, that would be my first choice as it is nice to be close to the main area. If not, our next favorite section, which we've stayed at twice, is the turtle pond section. The pool there is very nice and you can get pop refills as well as a few snacks and drinks. We find the busses to be great. There has only been one instance where we had to wait long for a bus, and I've had that experience at every resort. You can always hop on any bus if you want to get to the main area as that is always the last bus stop before heading out to the parks. We've taken the path over to SSR when running in the morning and it is a pleasant path to take. Hope this helps.
