First of Many questions from a New Member

DH and I (and 2DS) purchased into SSR on our Dec. visit. We are thrilled with our decision but we have so much to learn. Since we will only be visiting once per year (10+ days) we are uncertain as to the best options for tickets. Our past two years we purchased MYW with park hopper and water parks, that expired at end of visit. I see in our booklet that there are discounts for yearly passes however I don't see any mention of discounts for MYW tickets. Any suggestions on this matter. Would it be adviseable to purchase one pass and one adult and two children MYW?? Thanking you in advance for any help.

Plan your annual trips with a two week skew to get two trips on one AP. The DVC AP discount is the best discount at WDW, and it makes perfect sense to use the AP if you stay 10 days plus each year. If you skew that by two weeks, you can get two annual trips (20+ days) per pass, then wait 12 months and 2 weeks before buying a new annual pass and starting the process over again.

Our trip each year will most likely be the exact dates as the previous year. We go a few days after Xmas and stay into January. We really don't have much flexibility on that matter since we are self employed and its a quiet time for our business. Based on that, our pass would only be good for one trip as I understand it??? You can go to mousesavers.com and subscribe to the monthly newsletter and get discounts, thru thier broker, on tickets as they become available. It has appeared to be the "best" discounts out there.

Check it out...there is a discount on tickets at the moment.

Discounted Annual passes may still be the best deal for you since your trip is 10 days - you'll have to do the math. It will depend on your touring plans. Will you visit water parks, DQ and/or PI? Do you want/need the park hopping feature or the no-expiration feature? Will you be able to take advantage of any of the discounts offered to annual passholders?
