Decisions, decisions... :)

Due to a change in plans, I'll be at the World by myself on my first evening. My plane doesn't arrive until ~ 5:30. I've decided to eat somewhere at Epcot for ease of transportation from Pop Century, and as late as possible for maximum first-day restfulness. I've narrowed it down to four possibilities - all of which I've been to and enjoyed before - but can't seem to make up my very fickle mind.

Bistro de Paris
Chefs de France
Coral Reef
Restaurant Marrakesh

Budget is not a concern (thanks to my very generous tripmate, this is probably the only meal I'll pay for myself). What would you choose??

I've eaten at all but the Coral Reef solo. I enjoyed both Chefs de France and Marrakesh for different reasons.

Chefs is relaxing at night. When I just want to sit a savor my meal Chefs is a good spot. I have some Champagne or a Kir Royale, wine with dinner and watch the crowd wander by outside. If budget is no concern, this may be top on my list (with the Bistro second).

Marrakesh is fun and entertaining. I love Moroccan food and the men are cute too! ;) When I want an exotic evening that isn't rushed this is good. Also, given the location you can sort of hide away from the crazed Illuminations crowd.

I've wanted to try Coral Reef on some visit. I can see where that would be beautiful, to eat and watch the fish swim by. Very relaxing and a nice start to your visit.

Marrekesh gets my vote. Serves food you probably won't eat the rest of your vacation and provides unique entertainment. Definately my pick...Mmmmm.
::yes::

As a regular solo traveler to WDW, nothing completes my trip like a window table at Chefs de France!

As a regular solo traveler (and diner), I have dined at all but Bistro de Paris.

My vote would be for Marrakesh, since it's so unique. I can't make a trip to WDW without a lunch or dinner their. Coral Reef is good, though I can only vouch for lunch. Chefs is really good as well. I have to try Bistro de Paris someday, but I always feel intimidated because it seems like a very romantic type of place. Victoria and Alberts and Bistro de Paris are my two "eat there when I go with someone else" places :)

Have a GREAT solo trip!

LOL - this thread is playing out pretty much like what's gone on in my head. :) Anyone know where I can find a virtual dartboard?

I also vote for Les Chefs de France. Why don't you post a poll and let us decide for you?

My vote is for Marrakesh. It is one of those places that many people shy away from, so since you are solo, you won't have that battle to contend with. I love the food here and the atmosphere is unique in all of WDW.

;)

Honestly? I thought about it, but think I'm too much of a control freak for that method. How pathetic is that??? LOL!

I've eaten solo at most of these restaurants, and my recommendation is Marrakesh. The food is wonderful, the entertainment is fun, and the service has always been wonderful. When I've eaten there solo, the servers have always been very kind, helpful and cheerful. I've never felt out of place there.
