First night of Osbourne lights and MGM crowds...

I hope this isn't a duplicate post...

I just realized (I know... duh!) that the day we planned to spend in MGM is the first night of the Osbourne lights (11/14). Will MGM be more crowded because of this? Should I change my plans?

Anyone have experience?

Wow, are the Osborne Lights starting that early this year? Sorry I can't answer your question, because I was sort of wondering about the crowds on the first night of Osborne Lights too. But I thought they were starting Thanksgiving or the night before, as they have in previous years (but also, they were in a different location).

We were there last year on the first night, I cant believe they are going to have them up so early. Recheck the date.

The crowds weren't unbearable. It kind of added to the expierence. We went two years ago and they didnt have them, so we were excited to see them last Dec. They did not dissappoint.

I also thought that November 14th seemed early for the Osborne Lights. However, the official site states November 14 through January 8. Could it be a typo and they really meant November 24th?

Wow, I didn't realize they would be up for viewing that early. www.allearsnet.com lists the date as November 24th, but the Disney World site gives Nov. 14th as the date.

The park may become more crowded as it nears time for the lights to go on, but it's no different than the rush for Fantasmic! or any other nighttime show.
