I am stuck in a tight spot right now.

I have an ADR with garden grill for our first night down there. Would that be a good choice, or go to a different one.

Price isn't an issue.

I have ADR's at 50's PTC, Sci-fi, Plaza, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's.

It's a big toss up. between Teppan Edo, Tony's Town Square, Nine Dragons, and Chefs de France.

As you can tell, it's going to be a tough decision. Anyone's suggestions are welcome.

Pros and Cons about them all would be good too..

Thanks in advance,

Bryan

We have done GG our first night the last 2 years & had a good meal & a good experience. FW isn't too crowded & we've had time to do the Seas & the Land & Spaceship Earth before dinner. The kids loved the character interaction & asked to go back there this year. This year we saw everyone at least 3 times, if not 4 -- it was almost too much! And the food was great.

I would pick a restaurant in the Park you will be in.
If you will going to Epcot choose an Epcot restaurant.
If you are going to MK then choose Tony's.

If your resort has a TS restaurant you can just relax and enjoy your resort.

We pick Boma as our first night dinner.
Since you arrive that day we like Boma because it's a buffet, something for everyone. It's kind of out of the way, so to do it in the middle of the trip would take extra time to get to. And it's not in a park so we don't feel like we're wasting a day on our tickets.

I had lunch at Tony's today and enjoyed it. However my new favorite meal is Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village! Amazing!

I know Tony's gets a lot of mixed reviews, but we really like it and eat there every trip.

Teppan Edo (Hibachi) is my DS17 (who has been to WDW 10 times) FAVORITE thing at WDW......

go figure.......

I don't know your family structure...but so you know...we've done Teppan Edo as a family tradition for YEARS.....

IMHO...it's not much more than your local family Hibachi.....so don't expect something crazy out of the ordinary...just it's DS's favorite....and the Family enjoys it VERY MUCH as well.....

Have a magical visit!

Mary

Our first night's dinner was at Les Chefs....it was WONDERFUL and our best meal of our stay. We had window seats and saw the fireworks.
It was AWESOME.

I agree with the poster above who said to eat at whichever park you'll be at on your arrival day. Looks like you need an Epcot ADR in the mix and I'd go with Teppan Edo as that's one of our favorites. It's good entertainment and also great food. On the flip side of that, if you are going to have a resort day when you arrive, then I'd just stick with eating at the resort rather than leaving for an ADR in a park. That is normally what we do on our arrival day.
