DW, DS, 5 others and I are flying into MCO on a Friday night, arriving at 9:30. We have a reservation starting Saturday at the Boardwalk in WDW. Should we just get a hotel shuttle to an airport hotel for the first night and then get a limo/van the next morning to WDW, or should we pay a bit more and take the limo/van to the Dolphin or Swan and then just walk over the next day to BW with our luggage?

Any opinions or previous experiences?

Personally, I prefer to wake up "in the world" so I go to the hotel at that point in time (we usually arrive later, around midnight). I feel that I can actually sleep in more, not have to worry about going to a hotel for one night and then having to move or to waste the time in the morning getting to my new hotel, even if it is just to drop off bags before going to the parks. The difference in room prices for us is about $50 a night, but with 4 people, that is only 12.50. I would pay that to relieve myself of the extra hassle. If it were me, I would go the Swan/Dolphin way and relax a little more. If you have a teacher or government employee in your party, you can get a really good discount there.
