Do you have any recommendations for a restaurant at Citywalk or one of the Universal Hotels?

We're staying at the HRH, have a very-well behaved 6 year old girl and are 'foodies'. Okay, so we probably won't be taking her to Emeril's but would like a tasty dinner at a reasonable price.

Has anyone have any comments on Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, Pastamore or Latin Quarter?

Cheers.

We ate at Margaritaville and Pastamore 2 years ago. We liked them both. Margaritaville was a lot of fun and I thought the food was good - but I've read mixed review on it. We come from a small town with a local Steak House (imaginatively named "The Steak House" and a Mexican rest. so it doesn't take much to please us! But they had a guy going around making balloon animals and hats and stuff. Our 15 year old enjoyed it - so I'm sure your 6 year old would! If you're a Buffett fan you'll really love it - great music!!

Pastamore was very good food and good service.

When at Margaritaville, I enjoyed my meal, but my friend did NOT like hers at all. We have eaten several times at the Latin Quarter and have always enjoyed our meals there. Their salsa and chips are the best ever! Hard Rock Cafe is VERY loud, but we have enjoyed our meals there.

The Hard Rock is an experience if nothing else! We celebrated my son's birthday there and they do a great song and presentation to birthday people! :teeth:

NBA City is also fun. Neither have what I would call "excellent" food but it's good and the atmosphere is great.

I would say Margaritaville. That is the first place we always go to while on vacation. The atmosphere is so much fun! It kind of sets the mood for the rest of the vacation!

My vote is for Margarittaville or Hard Rock Cafe! Also she would enjoy one of the character meals offered (certain days only) at the Hotels.

For Italian food give Mama Della's a try at Portofino...really fun and the food is good.

Margaritaville has really good kids meals and they give them this really cute parrot mask that my boys had fun with.

The hotels all offer kids meals as well and are very reasonably priced....make sure to order a marshmellow milkshake!

Have Fun:)

If you all like good food, head on over to the Royal Pacific resort and try Emeril's new Restaurant, Tchoup Chop...it is much more reasonably priced than Emeril's on City Walk and the food, atmosphere is outstanding!

Enjoy!
