First MVMCP on 11/8...crowds?

So we have a short trip the first week in November and I’m debating if attending the party will be worth it to squeeze in more time at MK. We are two adults and only interested in short waits for rides and fireworks (and of course SNACKS!) No characters or parades etc. We went to a party in early Dec in 2017 and enjoyed but I keep hearing that parties are getting more and more crowded...plus this is the first one and on a Friday night and is our only option to attend one. Thoughts?

We did this last year and it was PACKED and the lines were anything but short sad to say. I can't say that this was the factor, but it was the only part we could've gotten in during our Jersey Week trip plus we felt an increase in crowds because of Veterans Day too.

The first party always sells out and there are new fireworks this year which will make the first night more popular with vloggers/media. If you go in with a good plan, you’ll have a good time and accomplish what you want. We did it last year and will do it again this year.

I'm going to this party (11/8) and regretting my decision. For some reason, I thought even if it sold out, it would be a disaster. I'm hearing quite the opposite. But I'm in now and I'll be reporting back after I go!

Hmm...I may just wait it out a bit before buying tickets...and if it sells out before I’ve made up my mind, so be it. I just wish we knew whether there would be any kind of extra emh at all going on that week...it would make planning so much easier! I’m not getting my hopes up though.
