Can everyone show me some pics of their "first look"? I'm trying to explain this concept to DBF, and I think he needs some visual aids!

I really think at SBP this is the way to go... plus I'd like to do some pictures with just he and I before the ceremony. TIA!

Look in Carrie's TR - she has some good ones from before the wedding.

If you can, I would try to schedule site visits soon. I would just try to look at as much as you can - just so you know for sure. The site visits help me soooo much.

OK, here's what you can tell your DH: The first look is a private moment that the two of you share with no one else around except the photographer. It gives you the chance to have the surprise of seeing each other for the first time without having to wait through the entire ceremony to be able to tell each other how great you look!

It also (as you know) allows you to take photos together before the ceremony, which saves time, and it eliminates the unnecessary complications of hiding the bride.

I will never forget the look on DH's face - and the way he choked up - when he saw me for the first time.

And it didn't detract from the experience of seeing each other as I walked down the aisle either - look how nervous (tearful?) he looks in this shot!
