First look at Starbucks at Disney?

AllEars is reporting that all four WDW parks will have a Starbucks location (watermarks were not mentioned) that will serve "Coffee and espresso beverages, frappucino and signature Breakfast sandwiches and pastries."
No tea? :sad2:

Starbucks isn't my first choice but hoping they put it in the resorts too. ANYTHING is better than the swill they currently try to pass off as coffee.

So true!

I wonder if we will be able to use Starbucks gift cards at the parks.

Going by how Universal does it with their Starbucks stores...they do NOT use S'bux giftcards, but they DO give an AP discount. I'm hoping it'll be about the same at WDW!

I got yer "Disney twist" on cups right here...

;)

When my niece was little she used to call the tea cups the "coffees" - I'll have to show this to her

i wish i could transfer to the Disney starbucks when it opens , i currently work at Starbucks in the UK.

I hope they get it before we go in December!

To answer the gift card question, I'm guessing they will probably not use them. We have a Stbx in our movie theater, and they won't accept Stbx gift cards. We asked and they said something about they own it, not stbx. or something like that. however, their menu prices include tax and are still cheaper than the menu at our 2 local stbx. They only have two sizes- grande and venti and are priced like the tall and grande at the other stbx.

Are they coming to WDW too?

Yes.

I personally suspect they're going in the Main Street Bakery - mainly because the scrim has been up on that building for ages and ages. I wonder if they're converting the outside to a Starbucks look.

I like the cups too. Is there any indication of the "menu" Starbucks will have - will they offer everything in a normal Starbucks or only some drinks?

I’ll need to check on this, Alexander. But most likely yes.

It's not a solid yes. But at least his first response wasn't a "no". ;)

Also, the Starbucks locations WILL take the DDP. That HAS been confirmed.

(Note, the above are only rumors. Only time will tell . . . :rolleyes1 )

Yes! :cloud9:

Well, it originated in Minneapolis, so they are all over Minnesota. I have seen a few in Ohio though(where I am from). I would think they would have some in Colorodo, but I guess not.
Yes, I love the whipped cream too!:goodvibes

Yes they have some in Colorado.

Mary Jo was planning on checking into this today, along with if we earn stars if they do accept them.

It looks like they offer the full drink menu.

Starbucks in DCA accepts gift cards and you earn stars. No freebies though (syrups, milk choice...etc), that normally come with levels/stars.

To each his own, i guess! :goodvibes I've never heard of Caribou's, is it a NE thing? I like Starbucks because they use milk/cream, instead of that instant in-water junk...I think they use chocolate syrup though? I usually ask for "less hot chocolate, and more whipped cream" :rotfl:

There are two at DIA. When I fly Frontier Caribou's is the only coffee in that concourse.
