Josh, we're all animals by nature, which means we have instincts. Observe the situation, if it seems like she's waiting for a kiss, then kiss her by all means. You can't really plan everything out or it will be a stiff evening.

Also make sure to buy her popcorn or whatever. On my first date ever, he took me to the movies, dropped his money while paying for the tickets, acted like I wasn't there when he spotted his friends, and completely bypassed the popcorn/candy/drink station and practically jogged into the theatre. I'll just say we never went on a second date.
