Hi all,

I just booked 10/29 - 11/2 at the Fort! (Yipee! Halloween & Thanksgiving at the Fort this year). This will be our first Halloween, and it will be my wife and I with our 4 year old. The one thing I'm worried about is... she loves Trick or Treating. Do people trick or treat within the Fort? I know we plan to have a stash of candy at the site if any little ones walk up, but I can never tell if we're weird or normal.

Thanks,
Allen

Bring lots of candy and bring an extra bag to carry hers from T or T! Almost every site is decorated and hands out candy.

Our family had such a good time at the Fort for Halloween that we're going again this year. We went through 15 lbs of candy and could have easily given out more. My girls really enjoyed the Monster Mash pool party and then just walking from site to site in our loop (1400) and seeing all the decorations and folks having a good time.

My Grandson loves it. I think we went thru 20 - 25 lbs of candy plus about 300 little rings and erasers I gave away.

We went at the same time this past fall, and stayed in the 800 loop. I believe the person on the corner entrance won best decorated site. We also went to MNSHP at Mk which was nice and they give out lots of candy also. I will say I believe we enjoyed Holloween about as much as christmas..

I agree I have a difficult time deciding which one I like more.... Christmas or Halloween! There be lots of decorations and trick or treaters! It's funny I made my reservation this weekend to for the same time. See u then!

We were there a year ago and it was great. At the end of night, the kids were dragging their bags on the ground with all the candy. Will you also be attending MMNSHP at MK? it rocked as well.

Thanks for the respones all, it sounds like a good time will be had!

We may do Mickey's Halloween party, however, I'm more excited about the goings on at the Fort. It sounds like we need to buy way more candy; however, than we usually do.

If we can work it into the budget, absolutely! We are season pass holders, so we normally don't budget park passes on these get-a-ways, and it makes my eye twitch to pay to get into the park twice, but I hear wonderful things about it :thumbsup2

We had such a great time at Thanksgiving that we decided to go for Halloween this year. The folks I talked to said Halloween is a great time to visit, everyone decorates and the "looping" is awesome! We are already planning our site decorations and costumes.
