Hi, I too am training for my first 1/2 Marathon. I'm doing the Disneyland 1/2 in September. This is my first race ever. I am using the Hal Higdon 1/2 Marathon Novice training plan. So far so good. That first week was hard!
I'm in week 4 now. I walk/run but I can say now that I do more running than walking which was so not the case 4 weeks ago. My goal is just to finish and get that medal!
I am already looking at another 1/2 in October (the Rock & Roll Half Marathon in Los Angeles and I haven't even done one yet.
