First Hair Cut With Mickey

I Was Told There Is A Place That I Can Get My Son's First Hair Cut
With Mickey. Does Anyone Know Where This Place Is? We Are Going In
Oct And I Woild Like To Make An Appointment. Thanks For Any Help.

It is at the Barber shop on Main Street in Magic Kingdom.

They don't take appointments, but if you get there early the wait isn't usually too bad. It's a lot of fun, so take a lot of pictures!

We did this for DS. It was great and they were great with him. The place is called Harmony Barber shop and they are on Main Street in the MK. They do not take appointments by they open at 9am and if you get there early there shouldn't be too long a line. Keep in mind there are only I believe 2-3 barbers. Here's a link to more info:

we did our daughters first cut there and it was GREAT. We ignored the "do it first" advice and went after lunch to a HORRENDOUS line. Def. go there first thing when you get in the gate. Make sure to snap some before pics...and they give out free "first haircut" ears and a certificate and wrap up the hair and sprinkle them in WDW confetti...it is just tooooooooooooooooooo cute.
when you come in the gates to the Magic Kingdom it is on your Left of where you would walk down main st...so dont head right for main st, you will miss it. if you are facing main st and the castle you need to go behind and left of the shop that is on the corner of main st...

Just wanted to mention that Mickey is not there, you get free Mickey Ears for a first haircut. And as others have stated, go early or be prepared to wait.

We had DD's first haircut there in February. We got to the MK early and went straight to the barbershop when the park opened. We were the first in line and when we left there was a line out the door.

When we went last September, we thought we were there at opening, but it was EMH, so I was worried about a long line. However, they didn't open early, but by the time we were done, the line was about 5 families deep.

To the OP, go early ... we were there at 9am, but right after us it was like WHAM everyone and their mom decided to go. We're going back in August for Julie's second haircut, if I can last that long. She's got a bit of a mullet right now.

My DS will be 14 months old when we go in September. That is the first thing we have planned when we hit the MK! I can't wait! Geez, by then he'll have a ponytail I think, its getting so long right now

We went in February and my son had his first haircut there. He got a certificate with Disney Babies on it and a pair of infant Mickey ears that has First Haircut embroidered on the back. We went there when the characters were out signing autographs and we were the only people there. It was a great haircut. They will also put paint and glitter in little girls hair too.

We love going there - be aware Mickey is not there. But the experience is priceless. Each of my girls got their first haircuts there. Each time we go to Disney, dh gets his haircut there. The girls love getting the glitter & colors also.

Me too, me too! - I want to get my son's first haircut there when we go. And my 4 year old just saw the pictures and now wants the green spikey hair. Do you if they have "my first haircut" ears larger than infant...my 2 year old has a big head! Also, they won't "buzz" him, right? I just want a scissor cut and to keep his nice soft, hair on the longish side.

We took DS for his 1st professional haircut at 18 months. Loved it - great experience for him - great memory for us! Daddy got his haircut at the same time as well, so it was also their first 'father son haircut'. LOL

My DS will be 2 in August and has only had one haircut, but his hair is getting so long and curly! It is so gorgeous! I know many people say it is their child's birthday to celebrate on their trip. What about telling them it is my son's first haircut?? It definitely looks like it could be!

my DD is gonna be 6 when we go , so it wont be her 1st haircut, so.....do they still give ears & a certificate to older kids or just the hair color & glitter?
