First Go For CRT Today - And I Failed

Was on the phone from 11:55am to 12:35pm today (from work - my boss will kill me!!!!)

No such luck for me.

But that was my first "real-live" attempt and Ive got lots of days to try!

BTW - I did book the Princess Storybook Breakfast though today, just in case I never get the PS for CRT - Anyone's thoughts on this one would be great - just me and DD8.

And we have an 8:30am PS - staying on I-Drive - Non-Drivers!!!

Help with getting us there on time please!!!!

You will love the PSB - we did Not sure about how you can get there - but I am sure someone will be able to help.

Can't help about the transport - other than to say you may have to resign yourself to a very early start (or a taxi )

I have heard good things about PSB though, some say it's better than CRT (though obviously you don't get the castle or Cindy herself )

i rang yesterday for several ps's one including crt for the first time. luckily i got one for the day i asked for the 24th sep. good luck and keep trying.

Sadly no such luck today either!!

I got through at 12:01pm, held on for 20 mins, to be told that all PS's have gone.

Im going to try later on today, in the hope of a cancellation.

Im wondering though - would it be better for me to ask for 4 instead of 2? Ive read that 2 get seated at a table for 4 anyway.

I must just have to drag DF and DS there too!!

Still, must keep phoning, must keep phoning

is it busier when you go than when i go? maybe i was just lucky. i only rang once and got a table for 4. i rang at 11pm ish and got straight thro. hope that helps. also i rang at 6-7pmish a few weeks ago to book planet hollywood only and got straight thro then too.

yes 11pm at night our time and got straight through. im not saying your more likely to get a crt ps but you wont be on hold as long and its cheaper to call after 6. this is my first trip so im no expert.

Lorraine, have you tried dialling a few minutes before noon??

I have 100% success and I found I was connected at about 11:59 each time. Just keep pressing redial until the phone message changes. BT do charge you for the millisecond you connect, but I think its only a few pennies. When I got the bill I remember I redialled around 40 times in 2 minutes . It works though!! The bill including the 15 minute actual call to do the booking was less than a fiver!

Yes, Ive tried dialling from about 11:50am.

Ive just called again now, in the hope of a cancellation, but nothing!!

But all this practice must surely be helping!!

I agree with allie 5. I followed the same process and I also have had 100% success.

Here's some PD to help you get your PS!

We also have done the Princess Storybook Breakfast and enjoyed it every bit as much as CRT! The last time we did this (Dec. '03) my DD's were 6 and 9. So I'm sure that your DD will enjoy it every bit as much as they did.

Sorry I can't help with your transportation question. IMHO getting a taxi would be the best option, but I don't know how expensive that would be!

I GOT IT! I GOT I! I cant believe it - I really cant!!!

Look at the time now - its only 5 past 12 and Im already off the phone!!

The CM told me I was the first person through!! I was not in a queue - I didnt have to listen to any music at all!!

I cried on the phone to the CM and she was sooo lovely!!

8.05am on Saturday 16th October!!


Thank you all for all your advice and encouragement - I couldnt do it without you.

BTW - Just some advice to offer for anyone trying - when Ive been ringing before I pressed 1 2 (phone number and hash) then 2 again (which obviously takes a few seconds).

Today I didnt - I just pressed 1 1 (as if I was making a booking in the next seven days - which I obviously wasnt) and it worked!!

Im so happy!!!

Actually, I forgot that another CRT tip, is that Sundays are a very good day to get one for some reason. Maybe our American cousins enjoy a lie in and dont want to be dialling WDW at 7am .
