First glipse of castle

I was on the theme park board and noticed that some people had taken pictures of their DD or DS's first moments seeing the castle. I would like to know if anyone on here has ever done that. What are some good suggestions. I had thought about DH carrying DD3 in and making her just close her eyes until we tell her to open them. When she does I will take the shot. I really want this pic for her scrapbook. If anyone has any suggestions about this or any other magical pic opportunities, I would be really grateful. Thanks

What we did was I went on in and got my spot while the others "fiddled around" with the kids -- I wanted that perfect shot too. I stood at the little circular thingy before you head onto Main Street, it is where characters are usually lined up for meet/greets.

BTW, what part of Alabama are you from -- I am originally from Florence (lived there for nearly 30 years before moving to Atlanta 4 years ago!)

Birmingham...my husband is originally from Decatur, and my cousin's wife is from Florence as well. My cousin met her at UNA.

My dh went ahead of us about 1 or 2 minutes. He stopped on Main St and turned back toward the circle. I released dd from the stroller right before the corner and told her to go see the castle. She took off at a fast run and dh got the look on her face as she turned the corner for the first time.

MyDH had DD on his shoulders. As we entered the park DS and I were walking beside them. There was so much for everyone to see that as soon as we got past the circle she looked up. The look lasted for several seconds and I snapped a picture. That photo has a prominent place in the scrapbook.
