We will be taking our first trip to Disney in June. We will be celebrating many special days. My sister's 30th bday, my nephew's 5th bday and I will be graduating from college. We are staying at Liki Tiki Village, so my partner and I have decided to take the auto-train and me sister is going fly down with her boyfriend and two children. Here are my questions

1. Has anyone taken the auto-train and how long does it take to get your off the train. Will be waiting hours?

2. What is public transportation like in Orlando? Should we just park at one of the parks everyday?

We took the AT many years ago but it's a nine hour drive for us to Lorton, and we found we didn't need our car in WDW....also to put your car on the train cost more than a Florida rental....also, no rhyme or reason for how they unload, could be 5 minute on up....luck of the draw...

Lynx is the public bus.....never uesed them and wouldn't want to rely on it for WDW....

We're not off site people, prefer to stay in WDW, just for the convenience and perks.....staying off site and driving to the parks everyday will cost you 14.00 per day...good for all day....on site resort driving and parking is free...
