So DH, DD and I have done April, May and the humid summer months but we've never been in the fall... We are now going in November and overlapping our trip with DH attending a conference- my Brother, SIL, Niece, Nephew (the kids first trip) - and my Mom and Dad going for different amounts of time. All told different groupings of our family are going to be there from 11/6-11/23 and we are being asked tons of questions that we're not sure of so I thought you all might be able to help;)...
What should we expect for weather? What about crowds? Christmas decorations? We'll be staying at WL and the Poly- any advice or must-sees/dos?

DD and I went early Oct. last year and we loved the time of year. You are going right before Thanksgiving so you'll get to see all the Christmas decorations (we got Halloween/Fall and it was beautiful so I would imagine Cmas is too), we had shorts weather, a jacket a night or two. Warm enough to swim too. I would imagine Nov. will be pretty much the same. It's FL after all.

Crowd wise, you are leaving right before the holiday crowds roll in and my BFF went over Thanksgiving last year with her family and she said never again. She knew going in it would be crowded, but she said it was absolutely insane!

We too stayed at WL and LOVED it. It's beautiful. We loved sitting in the rockers in the lobby (DD is a cuddler, so we have our daily rocks), they have crafts for the kids, DD loved the pool because it had a slide. The water taxi to MK is priceless. We also liked that this resort is small and compact. It was a perfect place for us.

Have fun (I'm jealouse :))

We have always done April until our trip last year, when we went from Nov. 8-15. I felt the weather was actually pretty similar to early April. However, it can be a little more unpredictable. It was gorgeous when we were there--shorts during the day, hoodies at night. But I guess the next week it got pretty chilly because in our PhotoPass swap, everyone after us was wearing heavy coats.

They will probably have all the holiday decorations up by the time you get there. When we arrived Nov. 8th last year, most of them were up. I only saw them add one tree at Epcot after we arrived. The castle looks beautiful at night with the Christmas lights! We took our Christmas card photo in front of it last year--a nighttime shot with the fireworks going off behind the kids. Just an idea for ya. :)

I'm sure you'll love it. Have a great time!

Thank you!!! My SIL is asking me what to pack so this was extremely helpful! I am soooo excited to see the Christmas decorations! Less than a month to go:cool1:
