Are any of you dressing up for Pirate Night? Anna will be dressing up, but Kim and I may only have pirate hats and eye patches on.

I'm not sure what I'm doing for Pirate Night!! Defintitely some kind of pirate shirt and black pants - other than that I don't know. It depends on what I can find between now and then.

Or just a bad catholic??

Just look at the calendar and realized that first communion is scheduled on May 9th :scared1:
So what did I say to DH- Grace is going to have to make her 1st communion next year, I am not canceling my cruise eeeek- dont tell the pope.
Actually - both my sons made theirs in 3rd grade, so I would hate to break that tradition right????

Oh wow! As a Catholic I know how important a First Communion can be. I'm sure whatever you decide will be fine.

That's the kind of dedication we on the boards like to see!! :thumbsup2

Now that Kristen has her flights changed to come in at 2:30 on the 9th- I am thinking I need to change mine right :) I am currently scheduled to arrive at MCO at 5:30pm
So I looked on Airtran, I knew I would need to pay the $75 change fee- oh well, but the earlier flights all leave at 6:20am- there are 4 flights, arriving at four times to MCO throughout the morning. Of course I would choose the one arriving at 11am, one connection. But.... it is $50 more than the flight I am on now. So should I pay the extra $125 to arrive at 11am, pick up our rental, check into Dolphin then head back to MCO to get Kristen at 2:30?? Or just stick with the arrival at 5:30? Am I making this too complicated :confused3

That sounds about right - usually First Communion is right around Mother's Day! I would do whatever you think is best for your family!!!

Cruise! Cruise! Cruise!

We are actually members of a now ex-communicated catholic church- we like to call ourselves roaming catholics LOL. Our wonderful priest who married us believes in equal rights for gay people to be married, and did unions at our church- of course a huge no-no in the catholic diocese. He also believed in ordaining women, and we now have two awesome female priests. He was excommunicated along with all of us who followed with him. We have an awesome parish- so I know this will be not a big deal to them.
Luckily we have not really been talking about it to Grace either, so she will not know the difference-

I'm pretty sure we will be able to offer Kristen a ride to the Dolphin with us Sandy. We haven't booked yet but we expect to be on the same flight that gets in at 2:25 on Saturday.

Kristen told me that tonight George- that is so cool! That would be great if you could give her a ride- I am going to sleep on the decision- although I am sure tomorrow I will be making that call to change to the earlier flight :rotfl:
