I only have one kid. Maybe I should have some more.

Everything is great! They got new washers & dryers on the ship and they are so fast!!!! Got laundry completely done in 1 1/2 hours, including folding and putting away 2 loads!! Not bad at all.

On vacation and doing two loads of laundry? God bless you.

Oh I get it. Its a quality control thing. :goodvibes

WOW, you gotta be brave to do that!! I could never wait that long :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I have _____ of steel! :scared1: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: When it comes to a deal. :lmao:

Wow, aren't you afraid you won't get the flight? I would have a breakdown waiting to book that close to a trip, my DH would be even worse. The good thing about SW is that if the price goes down as we get closer, we can call and get a credit for the difference. We don't mind doing that since we fly SW to WDW all the time and I always love the excuse, "But honey, we HAVE to go to WDW so we don't lose the money we have in our SW account!":rolleyes1

I really love that about SW. :thumbsup2

I think it is easier to wait it out when you can drive. I know that driving from Texas would not be an option for me. Driving from Pittsburgh is not too bad (not great, but not too bad). Then you can just think...if I don't get a good flight I can drive.

This is true. If we don't get airfare that I can live with we have absolutely no problem driving. DD actually enjoys the drive. It takes us 18 hours and we do it in a straight shot.

I totally agree Anne! While we don't want to drive, it wouldn't be a make or break decision for us.

Same here.

It takes us 18 hours to drive it...

And i'd rather shoot myself in the foot than have to drive that far if I can help it! ;)

But if it meant going on the podcast cruise or not going on the podcast cruise, then i'll be drivin'! :rotfl:

When we drive we leave at 6pmish and drive through the night. It's really not bad at all. :drive:

Oh no now there are THREE of these threads...I have so much catching up to do...better go grab some Starbucks and start reading :surfweb:

I'm sure someone can give you the Cliff's notes version, but what fun is that?

Oh my, do you think will include May?

If it includes May, I would have a big dilemma - right now it's just DH and I going as kind of a "romantic" anniversary vacation - if you can consider cruising w/over 300 of your closest friends "romantic"..... anyway, if kids are free, and it includes our cruise, I'm probably going to bring them. I guess we all have to tune in tomorrow to find out!

Looks like its only 3 night, so no dliemma :)

Doesn't help me because my kids are practically ready for AARP according to Disney standards...but I'm wondering if this might be successful enough that they will extend it to 4 and 7 night sailings as well. I hope so for those of you traveling with younger children. :goodvibes

It is just my DH and I so this doesn't affect us, but it is ashame they don't do more for all of us die hard fans.

You are lucky you have a variety of choices, unfortunately San Antonio is still considered too small to have a variety of flights. Is your flight non-stop? We get there on 5/9 and leaving on 5/17. We always try to stay as long as we can, and it still never seems long enough..;)
yep, non-stop. i am very fortunate to live so close to DFW (20 minutes away), i can't remember the last time i had to have a connection- i almost always fly direct and usually on AA.

You lucky duck- sounds like a great long trip! I am leaving my one year old son and DH behind (going with my parents and cousin), so I have to get back to him and can't stay gone too long. DH might kill me as it is being gone for 7 days!!! he'll be doing solo daddy duty!:thumbsup2

Jen - I'm interested in joining, but, I'm thinking I don't want to lug the stuff down there - what are some ideas that are going around?
