Phew...what a day...
My parents arrived yesterday afternoon and my brother and his wife arrived at about 2am this morning. We slept until about 8am and then my sister and her family arrived at about 10am. The present opening began..
It was pandemonium!
The kids were everywhere. Ella, my niece, wanted to help everyone open their gifts. Eventually, she ended up under the tree and pulled out her gifts that were wrapped in princess paper.

Jaxon, my nephew, had a short attention span. But he's only 1 so it was to be expected. I think he had more fun climbing on boxes than he did with his toys.
Mom and Dad got some good stuff. Mom was shocked when we gave her the embroidery machine.

Dad got some sappy stuff...my sister and I got together and made him a scrapbook with pics and stuff from when we were kids. He was a blubbery mess by the time he was through with the book!
Matthew and I got some good stuff. Lots of travel themed stuff...and I got bunches of scrapbooking stuff. I'm new to scrappin', so i'm not sure what to do with some of the stuff, but it'll be fun playing! And I got a
DCL Passporter to help plan the cruise!
And now for what most of you have been waiting for...
My brother and his wife got to open their gifts. We had some of them in a specific order. They were thoroughly confused! They didn't understand a lot of the gifts...things like lawn chairs and the beach chair covers...We photoshopped a picture of them from their honeymoon and put them into a pic on
Castaway Cay. My brother knew right away that something was up. My sis-in-law...I don't think she realized that we had photoshopped the pic at first. After awhile, my brother asked where we were sending them.

They had to open various presents and had to collect these skeleton keys in order to open the final box. My mom did a bunch of message in a bottle things that gave them clues along the way. Once they got to the last package, they fished through the skeleton keys until they found the one to unlock the "treasure". They were so excited!!
And then I told them that they were cruising with me and Matthew.
And then I told them about you guys...
They are excited though! I tried to tell them a little about the cruise and what to expect...i'll need to break them in slowly...
But here's the kicker...
My sister in law is PREGNANT!!!!
Don't get me wrong...this is a happy thing, but man are we stressing. We've checked and DCL won't let anyone cruise who has hit 26 weeks. We're waiting for her first official doctor's appointment to find out her due date. We've done the math, based on her timing and stuff, and we think she'll just barely make it. I've figured that she'll be 22-24 weeks at the time of the cruise. So we'll see...
So what did you guys get????
