They have cutout all 401K matching at my work. We cutout all overtime and have a freeze on all pay raises. But on the bright side we have all kept our jobs here.

Here, all non-union employees took a 15-20% pay cut, as well as a freeze on raises. The boss is quite insistent about not having to let anyone go or to cancel our health insurance benefits.

Agreed. Keeping a job in this climate is the important thing.

Ugh. What a day. What a week! Every day this week I have run behind schedule for one reason or another. Today, one of my clients had a seizure. Fortunately, I was prepared for it. (It happened with the groomer before me except I handled it better than they did.) Anyway, the dog is fine. It didn't last long but man, you feel so bad for them during. She's a sweety but she's old. I see I have about 30 pages to read. Have I missed anything important? Do I REALLY have to go read them? Off I go....

I made a ressie with Dreams for December 9-14 for the DAP. I had a DVC ressie but I changed because I want to be sure to get an invite to the event. Whatever it will be. I will use the points I got back when I canceled the DVC ressie for an extra week at WDW next year. I booked Port Orleans Riverside. I didn't want to go too expensive.

Thats where I'm staying after the cruise. I was thinking of booking that for DAP also.

For you folks staying at POR in the AB section.... I learned something about the Laundry room near building 24. There are 2 dryers on the bottom far right (side by side) that operate continuously (no quarters). Of course I lost $2 before I learned about it but it came in handy for my next load and I made sure I shared the info with someone else before I left!! (They used it too.)

I stayed at WL not the villas. I really liked the WL.

It's our favorite. Hoping to stay there again in Jan/Feb 2010.

They are young adult books so they are a pretty easy read. (Just go on another cooking strike so you have time to read. )

yeah, i had a hard time making it through most of the first book, until it got to the action part.........i know it required some character development, but the whole high school, lovey dovey stuff was just too much for me without any action. But once i got to the end, i was hooked. I think folks need to at least read the ENTIRE first book before backing out. The first part is very slow. The other books are much more intriquing, at least I think, since i enjoy all the action more than the love story itself. although that is great too of course.

So we stopped at the book to to look before she gave them to me.

When my family went during my childhood, we always stayed Contemporary. I'd like to try Poly. It's been a while since I've stayed "on the monorail."

I went with my aunt/uncle and 2 cousins when I was a kid in the mid-late 70's. We stayed at the CR once and the Poly once. I prefer the CR. Made a much bigger impression on me as a kid with the monorail going by overhead during meals. Very cool. I like to just sit and watch it go through even now!

I wish they would have put the monorail at WL. The track is not that far from WL.

You and me both. I mention it every time we're down there... no matter where I'm staying.

I'm ashamed to say I was one of the instigators of looking up/publishing post counts for the cruise thread(s). That was back around #1-#2. I feel like Dr. Frankenstein sometimes...

That was a good thing. Because it makes everyone talk to each other. Now we will know each other before the cruise. Back then I was just lurking around. I was intimidated by everyone. Finally I just jumped in and started posting. After a little bit everyone started talking to me.

I was too a bit. Then I was having a bad week and took all my frustrations out on Paul. I felt better right away! BTW, thanks for that, Paul! You made a great punching bag. Sorry I hurt your feelings.

Well I agree about the lights part. But a new amp! Woman who want audio amps are a-ok in my book.

1. I love christmas music.
2. I don't much care for my neighbors.
So anything that might drive them nuts is great for me.
Flashing lights, Christmas music so the whole block can hear.
