Here, all non-union employees took a 15-20% pay cut, as well as a freeze on raises. The boss is quite insistent about not having to let anyone go or to cancel our health insurance benefits.

That's a blessing!
A 401k doesn't mean much if you or one of your co-workers is out of a job at this time. As for the pay freeze you'll get through it. I know we are.

Our insurance is self funded and as of now they have not changed anything.

I don't care about the matching 401K. I have all my funds going into the ROTH 401K and you can't receive any matching funds.

That is pretty much it. It has a little pack for the straps to go in while in the chair lift, a handle on the back to lift her onto the chair and off the ground, and of course the straps to steer and hold her on the way down the hill.

I was taking a snowboarding lesson and saw a friend of mine with his son. His son was around three or four. Pretty cool setup.

I am terrified of the ocean. I never get near the edge. I am not a small girl and I would need to be carried 10 feet to be near anywhere I could be thrown off.

Hi all! There isn't much chance of me catching up to this point. - I am down to about 3 minutes right now anyways. They seem to be watching our internet at work - filters have been updated so I chose to be cautious last night. I don't want to mess with the powers that be. We normally have to go to arbitration for contracts and through some miracle, we have ratified the offer, and are waiting for Council to approve it. *crossed fingers* Monday could bring much good news for me!

Tonight I have band practice & dance class (I am joining my Dept's newly forming pipe & drum corps) so out late again.

Turns out her son bought her the twilight set for christmas.
I asked her how she liked it.
She said I don't know what all the hub a bo lou is about.
She said she got through a couple of chapters in the first book, and lost interest in reading the rest.
I asked her if I could borrow them she said I could have them.
Also Walmart, & Costco,& Zellers.
The weather was bad here so I had to take it slow driving.
Now I don't know when I am going to find the time to read these, but going to attempt this before the cruise.

Woohooo!! Another coven member!! I always tell people you need to get past the first few chapters until you start to enjoy the books - so just keep reading.

I have yet to read Twilight, but I like the sound of "coven."

Includes "oven,' which is where comes from !!!!!

Hmmm and Twilight? That sounds like a dream for a few ladies (and fellas) here.....

There might be cake there. Red velvet cake, anyone?

And for any men out there - so far there are only women signed up - read Twilight and get to spend an hour or so with a coven of women in love with a fictional character.

They are young adult books so they are a pretty easy read. (Just go on another cooking strike so you have time to read. )
