yum, cherry or lime tootsie rolls. I haven't tasted a fondant I like. Buttercream is where it is at. Of course I really only like the icing on cake- not a big cake fan. I know- the horror! (Jen!) I am more a pie/cookie/brownie fan. if the cake has lots of layers of icing, I am in though!

It has already been determined that brownies fall under the catagory of cake.

I haven't seen his Facebook page (I don't Facebook), but I can confirm it does have to do with planning for the podcast cruise He called me yesterday to tell me all about his trip

All I can say is it's awful nice of Pete to "take one for the team" and go on a 4 night cruise to prepare for the Podcast cruise.

I did and made DH watch them too. I thought they answered most questions I had before I started posting here regularly

That's just wrong. Give me the cake. The other stuff is decoration. A good cake shouldn't rely upon its icing. Same with a steak and steak sauce.

I agree! I don't use anything on my steak but salt and pepper. I like icing but not as much as the cake. I scrape most of the icing off.

I totally forgot about the ice cream for breakfast thing!

But I did buy ice cream for later when we were at the store this morning!

We're going to give into the nice weather and fire up the grill for some steak tonight!

DH made me laugh this morning...I forced him to listen to John & Kevin's first cruise primer (the one with the shout out to Alicia). When it was done, I told him that he's almost ready to take the cruise but he's got one more to listen to in order to be caught up. He then asked me why does he need to listen to these when he's not going by himself. He pointed out that not only will he be traveling with me...he'll be traveling with 200 me's! He says it'll be like the Verizon commercials...where the network follows him everywhere he goes. And if i'm not available to answer his question, certainly he could turn his head and ask any one of the collective.

Because we don't have enough opinions with this group.
