On my last (one and only) cruise I went to Mexico. On a shore tour we rode in an old school bus down a rutted road to the Mayan ruins at Talum. Talum was very beautiful, but overrun by cruise ship tourists. (A little like Main Street USA on the 4th of July.) That was 10 years ago. For some reason I could never talk my husband into another cruise. I'm thinking this one will be different, but how do they handle the fact that everybody gets off the ship at once and heads for Castaway Cay?

When the ship docks at CC it really isn't that bad on the path to the tram. There never seemed to be crowds trying to get to the beach.

We enjoyed being on the port side of the ship watching them stage the island for the guests. Once they were done they started playing the music and guests were allowed off the ship.
