I got downsized from my job today.

But my cruise is non negotiable. I have the money to pay off half right now and will have the rest soon. I am really looking forward to this now more than ever.

So sorry to hear about your job. But I am thrilled that your priorities are in the right place and you will still be cruising. And on the bright side, you will now have lots more time to DIS.

So in the lack work at work today, I was looking around the rest of the boards. On the trip forum I found out that & party tickets have not be released for sale yet. There is even some speculation that they may not hold any P & P Parties in 2009, as they are not on the Special Events calendar for the US site. Any thoughts? Especially as it may effect some post-cruise stay?

You are going to school part time? Would you considering going back to school full time? Would your employer consider paying for it as part of your severence package? Also see if you can get outplacement services.

Apply for Unemployment!!! Lord knows how much you've paid into it.

I actually go to school full time and am going to try an overloaded schedule so I can get done in a year. Without a job to worry about I should be able to swing it.
