My DH decided today he's going to go back to school and get his bachelors degree. He has a very good job and I honestly don't believe that a degree will make him better at it, but he will feel great about himself having it. He's going through Ashford College, I think. Anyone ever dealt with them?

Congrats George...post 900 overall and over 100 in this thread!!:thumbsup2

Days of Our Lives is on right now, that is what DH left on the TV. Oh my gosh, this show is stupid! It's been years since I've watched, and it hasn't changed a bit.

Every once in a while I catch it. I laugh at how silly it is. I used to watch it between classes my first three years of college. How I wish I could get back those 60 minutes a day....:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Diplomas make you feel better about yourself. Strange but true. You just have to look at the wall and you feel smart.

Yes, we did one very fast with the PC cruise last year. It was thread #13 and no one wanted to end on that before the cruise. Filled it up in a couple days. DO NOT, I repeat do not try to beat that.

Is this a threat or a challenge?:scratchin

Between this thread and real work, I just checked FW and found I got a couple million extra just laying around.:goodvibes :cool1:

I've got $46M in the bank.....

I've already warned you. And I've warned my real husband too.

I am really shy too. :flower3:

Get out....

Feeling any better, Jen?

On a scale of 1-10, I feel about a 5.
:crazy2:

Yeah, and I told him if he gets his, I'll get mine. I wonder what kind of a degree I need to be a better mom, wife, housekeeper (could definitely need the help there), taxi driver, volunteer, volunteer, volunteer, and DISer?? And, then if I have a degree, do I actually have to work?

My mom went back and got her Bachelor's a few years ago! It won't help her advance in her current job, but she did it for herself. We are very proud of her!!!

The only way it could possibly help him is if he ends up going to corporate, which he would love, and I don't know if I would. It would mean traveling for him. I like having him home at night to snuggle up to.

Business Management? Logistics? My sister's husband thinks since has a degree she has to have a job - mind you, she doesn't have to use the degree in the job as long as she has a job and he is happy - so she works for my father 1 day a week. (I have never figured my BIL out. :rotfl2: )

Are you an afternoon person as well?
