We soooo need to have a book club meet on the boat.:coffee:

Hey-
I'd be totally up for a Twighlight discussion/Mojito meet on the cruise!

Count me in!!!

There it is. I knew how many days, it just sounds better when you say it! :thumbsup2

::yes::

103 Days Until "Fun on a Boat!"

Todd's back!!! :cheer2: I missed the countdown!!

Spray, booth, or bed?

None - good ole fashioned sunshine

Ideal Image does laser hair removal. I'm gonna zap it away forever. (

Ouch!!!

A true Twigirl - you can bring any conversation back to Twilight.

::yes::

I am up for a Twilight book club meet on the cruise but shouldn't we drink Bloody Mary's instead to stay in the vampire mode. :rotfl2:

Maybe we could have a compare and contrast of Castaway Cay and Isle Esme and which makes the better vampire honeymoon spot. :rolleyes1

Good idea!!

Umm...NO! Its for the ladies...well mostly. I like to stay furry!

:lmao:

It's a package thing. You get 5 treatments and 4 touch ups. Different areas are different prices.

January is half price underarms, so that's $597. Plus they take Care Credit, so I can pay over time without a finance charge.

Like I said, ouch!!!

A couple hours and I'm #11....how long before I can break into the top ten???:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Not long!!

:scared1: $600 for the underarms at half-price. I'm afraid to ask about other locations.

Me too!!!

It's like getting snapped by a rubber band over and over for 2 minutes. C'mon, I've delivered 3 babies, I can handle that!
:teeth:

:worship:

So, this past weekend, wet met up with my dad and step-mom, sister and family to celebrate February birthdays, mine being one of them. I have the best DH in the world, and I thought so before he gave me presents. He got me Wii Fit, which I've been wanting. AND, I'm not sure how many holidays this will entail, but he got me TWO Coach purses. One for now and one for this spring and summer. Of course, I feel extremely guilty carrying that much money around in a purse. I just thought, people will now want to steal my purse for what it is. They will be sorely disappointed with what is inside, though.

:cool1: I guess all that hinting worked. You live in Iowa right...do people steal purses in Iowa? :rotfl2:

Most excellent!!!!

I think so...but I can't find her to confirm! The only other option I thought was next to me in the cabin I just moved FROM...did that one get moved, too?

I've had one the past three years and plan on it again this year. My last job afforded me week days off more frequently and we would take advantage of the emptiness while school was still in session, but its still worth it for us. For us it pays for itself on the fourth day. Last year we cut back our trips due to the price of gas, but still spent almost 20 days there.

Well, hopefully gas will be a little bit cheaper this summer. I was thinking about the season pass this summer, but I was also thinking about the Busch Gardens/ Sea World pass.

I don't know about you, but I am working. :goodvibes

Me too.

Me too.

But since InBev bought Anheuser/Busch, are they still going to have a valid park? What about Hershey Park? I went there on a trip to Gettysburg with my 8th grade history class....

Ok...Cruise thought -
What does everyone see as day 1?
- Get to port
- Check-in at port
- Enter ship and go to buffet
- Go to your room
- Decorate door & FE, unpack
- Tour the boat
- Go to the mandatory safety meeting
- Go back to room
- Go to Sail Away party
- Go back to room and dress for dinner
- Go to dinner
- Party after dinner

Am I missing anything?

Sounds like a plan!!!

I'm a shrimp. I'm only 5'4". ;) That's why I always wear heels. :thumbsup2

I'm shorter - I'm only 5'3"

I'll be where you guys are...lol

Much more fun that way! :cool1:

::yes::

I'm so happy to have our Todd back...:rotfl:

Me too!!!

Okay, you two are on a team when we shoot hoops, so far its Paul and I vs the two of you :rotfl2:

:lmao:

Here's where we got the pic.
It's only 400 T-shirts
Here are some boys...

Very cute!!

I love Cedar Point. I always went there when I was a kid. We didn't make it this summer. It was sort of a bummer.

Last year we rode on the big wooden roller coaster (I can't remember the name right now). My son cried the whole time because he wasn't big enough to go on. Mean Streak is that it?

I visited Cedar Point all the time when I was a kid. Loved that place and still do, but just don't visit that much anymore. I rode Dragster a couple years ago. Talk about crazy. It's the only ride I remember walking off of and saying "I'll never get back on that ride again"

Did you ride Millennium Force? That is the only ride at Cedar Point that scared me. It scared me because I get very close to passing out. I don't want to be the old lady that passed out on the ride.

Best Coaster ever. The front is lethal around dusk though. Unless you want a free facial with little bugs. Same thing if its misting. Might as well rub sandpaper across your cheeks.

Have any of you been to Six Flags in Jersey. They have a new (2003) Roller coaster called Kingda Ka
  • Type of coaster: Hydraulic launch rocket coaster
  • Height: 456 feet (tallest in the world in 2005)
  • Top speed: 128 mph (fastest in the world in 2005)
  • Location: Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey
  • Coaster elements: 456-foot tall top hat tower, with 90-degree ascent and descent
  • 129-foot second hill designed to provide free-floating airtime.

It is INSANE!!! We love it!:cool1:

I'm am so not a roller coaster person!! Or thrill rides for that matter. Just ask Brandie and Tonya!! :lmao:

Every time I price out a trip to CP it ends up being the same price as a quick Disney trip. So Disney always wins. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Of course!!! :flower3:

I love Hershey Park too. Are you noticing a theme in my vacations?

That's awesome Nicole!! :cool1:

Well, Miss....some of us live too far from the equator to dare to go out in the sun in minimal clothing in April to tan for May...we can't all live by the beach.:beach:

You know, I live about 5 minutes from the beach but never go!! I don't like the sand!!! Go figure!!

But she was certainly a good sport about it...she rode ToT with us at least once before deciding that she hated it...:rotfl2:

I didn't hate it exactly - I just don't like the sensation of dropping!!!

I might do it again one day - not anytime soon though!! :lmao:

:) He just loves me, I guess.

And, yes, in Iowa they do steal purses, but they think the C stands for corn not Coach.

I am the first "non-Iowan" in my family. There is plenty of corn in my family tree.
