Jim and I got home last night from our 4 wonderful days at the Boardwalk. I am home to laundry, kids homework and cold rain. I am very depressed today :sad1:
Someone make me smile!!!
Also- we went to Fort wilderness on Tue, and after waiting for the bus to take us back to pioneer hall I decided I do not think I will have time Thursday after the cruise to make it for lunch- considering I will have to wait for a bus before and after. I need to be at the airport at about 1:30.
anyone have any other plans on property that I will not need to wait for a bus for??? DTD or elsewhere??

That's great Don! Did you go with Kidani Village or Jambo? It's going to be a blast over the holidays. We'll have to plan some activities when we get closer to December. Maybe a round of golf?:scared1::laughing: Watch some NFL football on Sunday, etc.

We are in Kidani, could have gotten either, but I though the kids would want to be close to the new water area since it will be down time for us. Couple of meals at Boma and maybe a day trip to celebration ;) I'm always up for watching football! I'll have my dolphins gear on I'm sure!

We are really looking forward to the breakfast, the poly meet, and the cruise. I'm not sure how much I can swing past that. While I love you all, this is our family's vacation for the year, and I'm thinking that after the cruise we're going to do things as a family. I wish that I could sign up for everything and play it by ear, but I don't want to make all the dining reservations.

Totally understandable. Immediate family is important and you know what is best for everyone. In the end, its your trip to do what you feel. Hey...We'll see you around a lot anyway....We're going to be confined with you on a boat. Oh! And we're great stalkers! :upsidedow

There were some folks that wanted to do Earl of Sandwich....

Between Kathy's Blog and then the review on yesterday's show, we are most definitely planning Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure.

However, there has been some discussion as to when.

Three options popped up as 'viable'. Any and/or all of them can be put on 'the grid'. (Anyone notice I am getting a little 'air quote' happy? )

1. Saturday May 9th around 11am. Winging it somewhere in World Showcase for lunch. Ending around 2:30ish and heading over for Kitchen Sinks and No Way Josés at Beaches and Cream.

2. Friday May 15th during Drink Around the World. Ummmmm a bunch of sloshed DIS'ers pretending to be secret agents. This could yield brilliant results, or could be DISasterous.....

3. Saturday May 16th after a morning at Hollywood Studios.

Let me know what you all think.....

I'm good with any time except the 9th as my flight doesn't land until 10am.

Maybe?

Another possibility, all depends on how long we stay at AK and if there is (shock of all shocks) anything else we want to do at Epcot.:3dglasses :fish: :flower2: :butterfly :figment: :car: :faint:
It's EMH at Epcot that night...we'll have pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenty of time for other stuff! :cool1:

I was thinking the same thing about the water area. If I didn't get club I was going to book over at Kidani for the same reason. A trip to Celebration or even a trip over to Gaylord Palms would be stellar! That place is incredible. I'm not sure if we're renting a car yet, but we might if plans call for it.

Good morning everyone! It is a sunny day here. The temp is 0 degrees. We have a weather advisory out for today.:sad2:

Morning all! The wind kept me up last night. And the rain turned to ice/wet snow so the windows were all pretty and sparkly. DD realized the tooth fairy had made it through the wind somewhere around 4 in the morning so I am a little surprised any of us are functioning this morning. At least I have the chance for a nap later!

Ok - I can't get sucked in this morning! I have to go to the fabric store. Again. But the Disney Store isn't far from there...

I am in with the folks who have families so I am not doing too much pre/post cruise. We are considering one day for Seaworld this trip. I can't believe I don't have more of my plans set up yet.
Ok must get fabric....

Donna

I would like to go see ICE also. We are going to have to start our own XMAS 09 thread :rotfl2:

I don't remember this being posted before, and I don't know how accurate it is, but when I logged onto the DCL site and went to My Cruise (as suggested by Tracy in her fabulous online booking tips), this is what was listed:

Nothing surprising, but I think someone asked what day we'd be at sea a few dozen pages back....

This is the scheduled itinerary, however, it is always subject to change.

We booked our precruise night at the Contemporary (can't get a discount at the Poly yet :( )

We were going to try to stay at Kidani for the two nights after but I wasn't quick enough. I'll have to wait and see if there are any AP rates there later or just settle on something else.

We arrive at 9:30am on the 9th. Maybe we'll see you at the airport. We are taking ME to the BWV.

Ditto, but we're taking ME to the BCV. I'll be on the look out for you guys.

Editing to add: I'm a hugger so please don't be scared away by my excitement :)

Noted ;)

As for going "all out" with the other cruisers vs. having family time, we're somewhere in the middle too. DH doesn't DIS and, although he's not antisocial or anything, he's just not as much into that aspect of it all as he is just getting to go on DCL again.

We're doing the Poly pre meet and the DATW afterward. On the ship, we'll probably both participate in the big podcast crew events, but, if there's a show taping or something like that, I would bet DH will hang out by the pool while I do that. :rotfl:

It's all good!

I wouldn't mind doing that either. Mindy and I walked by the entrance to ICE during Mousefest, but never went in. It wasn't open yet and I had to leave for the airport to catch my flight. :headache:

Yay! I'm a hugger too!

We were staying at BCV, but switched to BWV as we have not stayed there yet. Trying to do all the DVC resorts.

Is that before or after the show?

:lmao:
Oh no! I have to hug you before you get a show. It's my way of getting to know you first...I'm shy ya know. NO hug, NO show.

Ok...I'm teasing...A simple hi with a wave will work too. :)

Trying to do all the DVC resorts.

Yea...I don't blame you. They are all wonderful in their own way. Trying them all and deciding which ones you like best is important.

We recently finished trying all of the on property DVC resorts. Our fav is AKV, BCV is second, and SSR is third.
