Pre-paid gratuities? What is this all about? Who does it cover? Benefits? Thx.

They are the amount that Disney recommends you tip the servers and your stateroom host/hostess. You don't need to pay them in advance, but you can. It covers your server, head server, assistant server and stateroom host. Some people just want it to be paid ahead of time.

Thanks Tracy. So each one of these people know that I've tipped them already and that I'm not a cheapskate? ;)

Thanks for asking George - I was wondering about this myself...hmmm...I may have to wait for the taxes to be done...and I am still waiting on all the paperwork. :surfweb:

Morning all. The snow is back here. Just a skiff. But it is cold again. Some of our neighbouring communities have just had the water recede. Again. I feel for them - second flood this season.

My fabric shopping was successful yesterday (I just love all the glitter in that store!) so hopefully I will be sewing today. I need to get a coffee maker first. Any input here?

I discussed the pre/post cruise with the family yesterday. We are thinking of heading to Seaworld for one day - DD hasn't been there. I think the first order of business will be Kim Possible missions. I think DD wants to head there as soon as we are off the plane!

Donna

SeaWorld was a good time. Even as a group of youngish adults. The Orlando SW seemed to have more to offer than the one outside of Cleveland (whilst it was open) and what I can remember of the San Diego one.

Alicia, if you want the insurance let me know ASAP. The payment hasn't been processed yet that I can tell.

Thanks Tracy. I went though insuremytrip.com. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

I sent my payment in this morning so we are officially paid in full! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Your welcome.
I am so excited this is going to be a lot of fun.
They kept asking me how many children under the age of 17
I said I don't know!!
So I will need that information before we check in.:dance3:

I agree. We really enjoyed Sea World and made a day out of it. If you can swing it I'd recommend the backstage Dine with Shamu experience. The food was good and we loved the opportunity to see Shamu so close.

Here's a shot we took during our meal.

I know you can get your pics at the Post Office but I'd rather not.
