Hey Nicole...I got the things you mailed to me today!

Went tanning...ahhhhh...I have missed my 10 minutes of doing absolutely NOTHING...

I also went swimsuit shopping. I've tried a few different stores but ended up at Kohls this morning and scored 2 suits! I'm undecided on one of them...but DH really likes the other one.

First one This is the one that DH really likes
Second one top (bought in black, not brown)
Second one bottom (bought in black, not brown)

Hi Andrea. I understand going from cable to FiOS takes a bit to get used to the channel arrangement. And the FiOS guide is a bit busy.

you are so right, George it is very busy - I still can't get used to it, and my husband looks at me like I'm crazy

I have another manly question. I am looking for a new lipstick brand. The one I have been using is very creamy and feels good going on, but I haven't been able to find it around lately. I wanted to get some new colors for spring and summer and a certain cruise I am going on in 56 days.

Any suggestions?

Kim - go to a MAC store or a MAC counter in a dept. store - the girls/guys there will show you what looks good on you. I really only wear MAC - it's not cheap, but the colors are nice.

Everything they sell has a aloe base to it.
I use their vitimin E stick, I love it and use it as a primer under my lipsticks.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your hugs and support.
However my B father and I are not close.
Things will not change between now and when he passes.
Certain things in life you cannot change, just learn and continue on.
However things have changed on the home front.
We are worried right now as John has tried to do too much too fast.
We may have to make a run to the emergancy room tonight or tomorrow.
Have already talked to the nurse.
Now it's a watch and wait situation with him.
I cannot go until I know he is in good shape.
John has always been first on my list of priorities.
My family has never thought much of that, but so what.
The last few years the relations have been such that when people ask about my family it consist of John and the 2 boys.

Wow. Now I know why I had this urge to get online tonight. My DIS buds were concerned about me. Lisa sent me a PM on FB so I thought I better come over here and set your minds at ease.....

So, yeah, I had the DH talk. I was a nervous wreck all day yesterday and just couldn't come on here. I waited for DH to kinda initiate the conversation after he got home but when he didn't, I did. He said, "Say whatcha need to say and be done with it." *sigh* Not a good start. Anyway, to make a long story short, I did most of the talking and got it all out in the open. Did it solve anything? Not really. Not yet anyway. I think he needs a bit of time to process it all. (That's ok. I'll give him 1 week.) As of right now, he's (grudgingly) going on the trip. Not sure that's a good thing though. What's he gonna be like? Is he gonna ruin it for me and DD? I wish I could share a lot more about this with you guys but DH thinks all I do is talk about him behind his back to you guys as it is. (For the record, I never talked about DH until recently and I really haven't said much.) If you haven't guessed already, DH really hates it when I'm DISing.

I don't know if it's going to make you feel better or not, but yours is NOT the only "difficult" husband getting brought on this trip.

I only recently got him to agree to come. Gave him the ultimatum with the airline tickets, then "accidentally" ran into him by the AAA office and told him it might be a good idea to get a passport pic while we were there. Yeah, I know, I'm devious.

I swear I'd have a better time without him, but if I went without him, I might as well not bother coming home. He'd be impossible to live with.

He's not a bad guy...just different.

Hang in there. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Find a way to enjoy your good fortune, and ignore the bad.

I'll keep this in mind tomorrow! Try to wake up with a new outlook on life. Afterall, with the exception of the cruise itself, my trip to Orlando and onboard cruise expenses are pretty much paid for. FE gifts are purchased and I figured out how to decoratively 'package' them last night. (After the DH talk, it was a great diversion!) I get to go to Universal Studios for the first time using the AP I got on the show. Things really are GREAT!!

I'm sorry things are not going well with John and for the other things going on. Hopefully you won't have to head for the ER tonight. If need be, tie him down to the couch and give him the remote. I'm sure the cruise can't come fast enough for you.
