My sister is taking Mom and I the airport. I called to tell her that I would be giving her a wakeup call at 4:00 am. She replied... Is that tomorrow? I thought it was on Saturday.

We would have been standing out on the sidewalk at 4:30 am, in the dark, with our luggage, and my scooter, waiting for a ride that wasn't coming.

My migraine won't go away until I get on the plane!

Ugh. For those of you staying at the Dolphin.... you guys are lucky! I went over there today and it's much more convenient to the big pool and laundry room. I had no idea that the Swan had no laundry room. What a pain it's gonna be to drag m' bones all the way over there. Not to mention my laundry too. Oh well. The lobby/common areas seem nicer also. More restaurants. You guys staying there won't be disappointed.

Speaking of martinis --- my lemoncello was done yesterday (for those who missed it, I've spent the last two weeks "brewing" my own batch). It is soooooo yummy!!!! I had a lemondrop martini using it last night and it was to die for!

My mom keeps thinking it is tomorrow and I am leaving Saturday.I think she is trying to get rid of me.



I have officially packed my bag to 50.5lbs. I can't decide if I should just switch stuff now or wait and see what the scale says at the airport. I have almost everything in packing cubes so it would be easy to switch stuff around.

Safe travels to all those departing for WDW today.

I still have 41 hours 25 minutes til my flight on Saturday. I so wish I was leaving tomorrow.

No Jellyrolls for me. I need to get a few hours of sleep. It will probably be my only chance.

I am going to try and get a good nights sleep tonight. I have a feeling I will be to excited to sleep.

24 hours until we leave for the airport!!

I leave for the airport in 11 and a half hours.

Well we were supposed to be landing in Orlando right about now, but, we are back at JFK.... About 10 minutes after takeoff, the pilot came on and told us the plane had engine trouble and he had to turn around and land the plane back at the airport. Needless to say, we were quite upset and nervous. He landed the plane successfully, and we had many cars from the NYPD and Fire Dept trucks waiting for us to land

We have now deplaned and are waiting for them to get us on another plane.
Thank goodness we didn't have anything planned for today, as the day is shot.

I'm just hoping that we get on the next plane soon and get there safely.
NOW I need a drink.

I have to get up and check us in for our AirTran flight at 7:20 tomorrow morning. I may just upgrade us to business class if it's available and I'm feeling wild. Then I have to log on and do some work from home tomorrow morning, but just the bare minimum. Then I'm FREE! Woo hoo!

Howdy, everyone!!

Guess where I am!!

We just checked into the Swan and we were offered a complimentary upgrade. We are in a resort view room now with a balcony. We're pretty much facing the back of the Boardwalk resort. Gonna go walk around a bit. The fam wants to go swim in the pool too. Gonna go to Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ later for dinner. We ate lunch at Earl's (Earl of Sandwich). YUM! The HRH was awesome over at US. Gotta say it was much nicer than the Swan. DH didn't think US was as nice as WDW but we still had a good time. We coulda stayed there 2 more days though. Just went from attraction to attraction without exploring much else. Ok. Gotta go now. Just wanted to pop in and say HOWDY! See you guys in a coupla days!! I'll check back in later this evening. BYE!

I am completely worthless here at work. I shouldn't even be here. My brain is already on vacation.

I was very busy at work today. I'm one of two people at work that can do every job. So they needed help in the store today and then I had a lot of orders to place and some inventory counts too. It made the day go by very fast. I'm on vacation!!!!
