First DVC trip booked...Dec!

I am so excited, we booked out first DVC trip for Dec 21-26. Christmas in Disney! We couldn't get our 1st(WLV) and 2nd (AKV) choice but thats ok, we will be staying at our home resort SSR. We are on the wait list for the others.

Does anyone have any tips are what location to ask for, we are 2 adults young, no kids? probably want to be by DD or Golf course.

Any suggestions on where to eat for a holiday meal?

Home!! I hope you have a great time. I have not stayed there yet, but have read on other posts that Congress Park is close to DD.

You are going to have a wonderful time!! I'd suggest doing park stuff early in your visit, as in between Christmas and NY the parks get crazy. Save that last day for touring the resorts and taking in all the decoriations.

I wonder if V&A is doing anything special for Christmas dinner. If they are, and you don't mind packing dress clothes, that would far-and-away be my first choice for a special meal. Otherwise we really enjoy Jiko and California Grill...I'd make reservations ASAP.

Can't help you with the SSR location question, as we've yet to stay there.

Congrats. We are going to be staying at AKV Dec 30 to Jan 5 for our first visit "home" since buying into DVC in March. Can't wait.

I love your wedding pictures! What a dream come true for a Bride. I would make dining reservations for all of my days. The restaurants will be full, even for 2.

(We were booked for a studio in SSR until exactly 2 weeks ago when DH called & switched it to WLV. I was shocked there was any availability.)

You will love SSR. We just spent 7 nights there in May.

Great! I am glad to know we will enjoy SSR. I am going to try to call to get the WLV again. Mabye with some pixie dust it will come through but I am not upset about SSR. We are very much looking forward to it.

Are you planning anything special for Christmas eve or Christmas? I have to figure out what we want to so those days and where to eat.
