My family of 4 (15 yr old daughter, 13 yr old son) is crossing the pond at the end of June for our first trip to DLRP. We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge for 6 nights, then our final night will be in Paris. I can't tell you how excited we are!

I've read through the posted info for SL, and it's all very helpful. Unfortunately, I'm still confused about the whole "breakfast-in-the-park" option. Since breakfast at the hotel is included, is this also "free"? Plus you get into the park an hour early? Am I missing something? In the US, we get suspicious about deals like this!

Also, we understand there might be a few things in Paris worth seeing. Is the RER the best way to get in to Paris?

What about the parks themselves? I imagine we're going to want to explore every nook and cranny (we're 10-yr DVC members).

As you might figure out, I have tons of questions. Any info you folks want to throw out would be great!

Thanks,
Steve

As far as I know, the breakfast in the park option, is totally free. (Its called Good-Morning-Fantasyland-Breakfast). If you ask for it at reception when you check in, they'll tell you if theres any spaces left. Yep, breakfast is included, wheater you eat in the Hotel, or in the park. And yes you get into the park an hour early!
I dont know anything about the RER and paris trains. Sorry!

I would say that the RER train is the best way to get to paris. It takes about 35 minutes and is easy to use.

6 nights should give you loads of time to do all the things that you want to do at the parks.

The best reason for DLP doing the "Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast" that I've heard, is it's a great way for them to lessen the crowds for the hotel breakfast, while looking like they are doing it all as a great perk for the good of the guests!!!

I'm not knocking it - it's a very good idea. It's nothing fancy - the usual continental buffet breakfast - but it is a great way of getting into the park before the crowds. Have you booked it yet? It is possible that it might be "sold out" by the time you arrive. So if you want to do it, ask as soon as you check in - there should be some time available out of the six mornings you are there.

Yes the RER is the best way into Paris - have a look at this thread (which you can find in the Useful Information Sticky) for some useful websites.

Welcome to the DLP board! Please ask as many questions as you like. :)

Hi Steve and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any thread :)
If you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you decide to do the GMFB then the best tip is to walk to the restaurant and not take the train as encouraged by the CM's :thumbsup2

Steve, can't give you any more info than has already been said but just wanted to say hi and welcome to the DLP board! :welcome:
