Well after a bit of a bad start the night before we had a brilliant day on the 2nd day despite all the rain. I was totally in love with the shops and to see the castle- its just magical!!
Day 2- December 10th:
After having no sleep at all I got up at 7am and got ready for our first full day. We had breakfast and thought as it said a continental breakfast when we booked that it was just a bread bun and cup of tea but how wrong we were! It was lovely and plenty to choose from. Lovely fresh, crusty bread rolls, hams, salami, turkey, cheeses, cereal, toast, fruit and more. I had a bread roll and some meat and we all really enjoyed it. And I never ever eat breakfast normally.
After breakfast we got the shuttle to the park. Sadly it was raining and it did do all day really heavily too. But we werent gonna let that spoil our day.
As we were walking past the Village, heading towards the Disneyland Park, we got some photos taken which were nice to have as it had all of us on.
We spent ages shopping on Main street and we bought quite a bit and I got a really cool Jack Skelington hoodie. We also took advantage of the free hotel delivery during our whole holiday. The shops are fantastic and so much better than the Disney store here. I was like a kid in a sweet shop. I didnt know where to look or run to first.
We spent ages shopping and we hadnt even reached the castle yet but we stopped off to get something to eat. We ate at Caseys and it was lovely and warm inside. I ate so much rubbish while I was there, stuff I never normally eat lol. And I never actually finished a full meal but I swore I would of put on like a stone while I was away because Ive never ate so much but very surprisingly I actually lost weight! Anyways I got a hot dog with melted cheese on. I couldnt believe the size of the. Actually all portions of food were big I thought and I couldnt complain at all about the price. Everyone here kept telling us it was expensive for food but we didnt think so.
After lunch we went in a few more shops and had a good laugh at the staff calling my grandma the Phantom Manor because of the photo copy of her passport picture. We laughed a lot about that during the holiday because someone else said it too. And just as we were coming out of one shop we caught the Character Express going past.
We went on the Pinocchio ride which was nice but when we got off it was raining really heavy so I bought one of those bright yellow rain ponchos but I put it on wrong and looked so stupid but it was funny.
It was getting later on in the day and we decided to go to the Village to have a look around so we done yet some more shopping and bought lots more then went and had a sandwich at the New York Style Sandwiches. It was really nice but there was little birds in there flying around and swooping over our heads and food which was very, very off putting and unhygienic and no one was bothered apart from us so I guess it must be normal there but in a few other places there was birds flying and hopping around too.
After our nice full day of shopping and browsing we headed back to our hotel.
