Hi everyone. Just joined this wonderful site. I was wondering if I could get some advice and planning help. My husband and I are taking our four yr old to Disney for the first time from oct10-14. We get into Disney at 10:00-10:30 AM. And our return flight is at 7:00pm. Not sure which hotel to stay at. Thinking Polynesian. Def a deluxe resort. Any suggestions? I don't know which park to start at. The only major thing we have booked is he's getting made up to jake the pirate on friday and we want to do mnsshp. So thinking we will spend our whole Friday at MK for all that. We also booked a character dinner at Epcot on Thursday and a character breakfast on sat at HS.
We would also like to visit downtown Disney one night. I need some advice as to where to go first when we get there and which parks to do first and how much time i need in them. Also dinner choices would be great. We don't mind spending money but nothing that will take too long. My son will kill us! Lol
Any advice wil be greatly appreciate!

Thanks!
Bea

I loved staying at the Contemporary. The monorail was awesome. We are staying at an Epcot resort next year. DH has always wanted to stay there.

I would say MK would be the best park for your DC.

My dd was four on our last visit and she loved MK. Peter Pans Flight, Buzz Spacersnger Spin, Small World, Dumbo, Carousel, Small World, Splash Mountain... We did these over and over. I would allow the most time for Magic Kingdom.

We like Chef Mickeys breakfast at the Contemporary to see the Fab Five characters (Mickey Minnie Donald Goody Pluto). It is a fun and lively location so I doubt your DS would get bored. Plus they have Mickey shaped waffles :)

I think you will find the Poly wonderful and very kid friendly. We also do the Pirates League right before MNSSHP. I do suggest that you get to MK later that day because it is worth staying until midnight if the kiddos will allow it. Check the restaurants forum as you will find such great ideas and tips there. Also, make sure to go to Beaches and Cream and get ice cream one night. Specifically the "kitchen sink" for some extra fun!
