First Disney cruise booked!!

I wanted to share with my fellow DVC family: we just booked our first Disney cruise. We are doing a 3 night, Bahama on the Dream. November 15, 2012!!
Cat 9A, cabin 7008.

Me: 77 points
DH: 77 points
DS: 61 points
DS: 59 points

Total of 274 points.
I know a lot of people say using points for a cruise is a bad way to use them, but to us, it's not.
Can't wait to start planning!

That sounds wonderful! Our first DCL cruise was a 3 nighter just about the same time of the year as yours is. We've now done 4 DCL cruises and 2 have been with our DGC. Disney really knows how to pamper the kids and that makes their cruises worth the extra money or points. Enjoy!!!!

It's been about a month since we were on the Mexican Riviera cruise and I keep thinking about the wonderful time we had as a family. Enjoy yourself, you'll have a great time!

You will have a great time! I've been on 2 Disney Cruises, and have a 3rd planned for summer 2012. It may not be the "BEST" use of points - but it certainly is a fun and relaxing way to use them.
