First Designs...question about size?

Hi,

This board is addicting.
I been playing around and have two designs.

This one is group effort. The character artwork is from Cruiser1969 (thanks again).

number 2...

Do you expert DISigners have a finished size you shoot for?
The first design originally is much bigger, I shrunk it down for posting. But I didn't do that to the Pooh design.
Just trying to get a size range I guess.

Those are sooo cute! I make mine 8.5x11 inches in PSE since that is the size of the iron ons I use. Always easy to shrink it down but sometimes not easy to make it bigger.

I also make my designs BIG!! I figure they can always be sized by the user.

Thanks guys.
I will hang on to the big/full size images and resize as needed.

I assume my DS 4 and DD almost 1 will need smaller images than a adult.

They look great!!! When I resize for the kids I measure their shirt and then take 1/2 inch from the measurements and that normally works and I make sure to keep the aspect ratio. Can't wait to see more
