First december trip ???

Hi
this will be my 2nd disneyland trip ( may 06 previous ) so lot's of ???
Is it a rainy month end of nov early december ?? if it rains is it only a shower or heavy rain all day ??
What are the thingas I need to see I know about haunted mansion and it's xmas decorations ( but will they be up ?) also small world ( also up ?)
I heard of the xmas parade is it daytime ? or nighttime ?? when does it start november or december ?
the special fireworks ?? every night ??
Mickey's toontown all decorated or not??
I want to do all that I can see and need your expertise so pleaseeeeee I need answers

We go twice every December, because it is THE BESt time to go! So good for you! Only once, when I was about 8 (so 15 years ago) has it rained when we were there, and we were eating lunch. By the time it stopped raining, we were done with lunch, and the park was empty. It was the best! Typically, the rainy months in So Cal are not this time, so no fear!

All the decos will be up by Nov. 14ish. Certainly in Dec aeverything will be in full swing. There are usually 2 Christmas parades a day, although the ight one is the favorite and most popular, because of the lights. Get a seat VERY early, and I mean like 2 hours early for the night parade. As for the rides, it is very special and fun being all decked out. The Haunted Mansion is so great! It's The Nightmare before Christmas Theme, and Small World has like a billion lights on it.

I don't remember anything exceptional about the decor in ToonTown, just like the rest of the park, but I hardly ever go there, so can't help you much. Sorry

We went last December and it rained one afternoon of our stay, which was during naptime for us, so it didn't really matter. I will say it cleared out the parks though! Normally the weather in So Cal is pretty decent that time of year.

We went at the beginning of last December and the weather was fine. Stayed at about 70-80 the enitre time we were there. Only had one rain fall and it was just light sprinkeling that lasted about 30-45 minutes.

Bring some ponchos just in case and enjoy the rides with no wait (all the locals tend to leave with the rain ).
