First day was amazing!

Arrived at the DLH at about 11:30am and our room was ready! The guy checking us in was super nice and somehow we got a room upgrade for free!! Got to the room and just love it!!! We are on the 8th floor in the Frontier Tower with a pool view!

The good so far...

Earl of Sandwich is delicious!!!
Took a survey at DCA and got a free Photopass +
Took a ton of pics on our photopass at the entrance to DL, the Christmas Tree, Mickey & Walt Statue and Castle
Had a photoshoot at the hub with David! He took 27 pics of us!!
rode Space, Star Tours, Matterhorn and Thunder
Visited Jingle Jangle Jamboree, it's cute!!
Watched the parade and fireworks
Had dinner and drinks at Trader Sam's (very good)

The bad...

We did not like the new bobsleds at all and the ride felt very rough and we were all a bit sore afterward.

Had a magical day! Can't wait for Day 2!!

I wonder if you got the same PP photographer we had last fall. He really took the time and listened to what I wanted shots of and took a dozen or more pictures of our family. That one experience convinced me to by the PP+ for our upcoming trip.

Is he kind of an odd guy with glasses? If so I'm pretty sure it's Dave. He's a wonderful photographer, and if he's not busy, ask him to take you around the hub from the statue to TL to Matterhorn to the Castle. He's at the hub M-F from 9-5. Love him!

That has to be the same guy we had when we were there last year too. Sounds just like him. He was fabulous and I will be looking for him again! He took some amazing pictures with my own little p&s too.
