First day help!

Good morning! We're going to WDW on 11/21 and staying at AKL. I am trying to figure out what is the best strategy for the first day. My plan was to go straight to AKL, park the car and take the bus to AK.

1st question: We have Military Salute Passes that we need to exchange, can we do it at AKL or do we have to go to AK ticket office or guest services?

2nd question: I believe I can park at the resort as I will be checking in later that day. But where do I park? By the Guest Check In entrance? Do I show a printout of my reservation to the gate guard or my magic band?

Sorry, I am just a bit confused by the logistics! Thank you advance!

When you pull up to the gate they will ask if you are checking in.. since you are they should be able to just scan you Magic Band. (I've had an issue with this and they just check your ID if you band isn't working).

Yes, you can park at the hotel. The general parking lot is huge in the front of the hotel. Just park anywhere in that lot. You can pull up to the hotel to unload your stuff and let Bell Service hold it so when your room is ready you don't have to go back to the car.

As for tickets, I've never had military tickets so I am unsure but the front desk has been able to fix and ticket issue I've had. Hopefully someone that has done military tickets can assist.
